Chapter 1 - Heavenfall: The Battle Beyond Dao - Prologue

Prologue – "Before the Fall"

"In the beginning, there was Dao — indivisible, eternal, infinite.

Until it chose to shatter itself…"

The Primordial Epoch had no end and no beginning. Time was unborn, space unmeasured, and the Dao was a silent void that held the weight of all possibilities.

From this endless nothingness emerged the First Law:

"All that ascends must break."

And so began the rise of Heaven's Children — those who clawed their way from dust to divinity. They challenged the stars, split worlds, rewrote destinies. They were called Emperors, Saints, Sovereigns, and Sinners.

But one truth echoed beneath it all:

Only one may stand atop all realms.

Until now.

Across infinite realms — in dying universes, in lush mortal worlds, in heaven-splitting celestial domains — a ripple spreads.

It is not heard.

It is not seen.

It is felt, deep in the soul of every cultivator who has touched the edge of the infinite.

A whisper.

"The Wheel has cracked."

Heaven's order — fate, karma, time, causality, space — begins to crumble.

In a hidden corner of the Cosmic Abyss, a fissure widens. Not of rock, nor of Qi, nor of any Dao known to the Ten Thousand Realms. But of Reality itself.

From that fracture, a throne of no shape calls out. Not with sound, but will.

A throne meant for none.

A throne meant for one.

But the throne lies — because in this shattered existence, the Path has multiplied. The throne has split into six, or infinite, or one in six, or six in one.

And so it begins.

A man sitting atop an eternal time loop, whose every breath rewrites causality.

A cultivator who abandoned karma and became the source of his own destiny.

A war general whose schemes echo through hells and heavens alike.

A mortal reborn with the arrogance of the stars in his palm.

A master of void and blade, who walks between moments like stepping stones.

A soul forged in divine towers, whose body houses realms and whose mind hosts gods.

They do not seek the throne.

But the throne seeks them.

And in the deepest corners of Heaven's Memory, something old awakens.

A being that watches all endings… and sees too many.

Its voice is neither kind nor cruel.

It simply speaks:

"Let them war. Let them bleed. Let them tear through existence and one another. Let the Laws weep and the Realms collapse."

"Only then will we see who dares ascend…"

A pause. Then a second voice — playful, mocking.

"…and in which reality they truly win."

This is not the story of one victor.

This is not the story of right or wrong.

This is not justice, or balance, or Dao.

This is Heavenfall —

Where legends clash beyond space, time, and karma.

Where reality fractures, birthing countless paths.

Where each warrior wins, but only in the world that survives them.

And you, reader, are the final witness.

Welcome.
