Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Seriously? Awakened Powers and Still Have to Go to School?

Ordinary Group Leader: "???"

The Worst Spirit: "???"

Uchiha Dance King: "???"

Come Be My Son: "???"

Cook Daigu Into Soup: "???"

That's Just How It Is, Meow: "What's going on? Why is everyone sending question marks?"

Golden Flash: "It seems to be because of the term 'transmigrator.' Does it have some special meaning?"

The Worst Spirit: "It definitely does, but I didn't expect there to be another transmigrator besides the group leader."

Come Be My Son: "Gurararara, things are getting interesting. And it looks like this newcomer also knows about our worlds' future. Maybe they come from the same world as the group leader."

Uchiha Dance King: "Honestly, just being a transmigrator isn't that surprising. The chat group's invitations seem completely random among people with high fate."

Uchiha Dance King: "What's more interesting is the new member's group name. I don't need to explain what the group name, generated by the chat group, actually signifies, do I?"

The Worst Spirit: "Agreed. The group name reflects things like strength, personality, abilities, and reputation."

The Worst Spirit: "The newcomer is called 'Child of Nature'—that's pretty remarkable."

The Worst Spirit: "So, newbie, mind telling us a bit about yourself?"

It wasn't just Kurumi Tokisaki; everyone—Madara Uchiha, Daigu, and even Roxie Vale—was curious about Brandon White.

A transmigrator!

Someone with the same background as Roxie. And, unlike the 'Ordinary Group Leader,' whose name reflected her undeveloped powers, this new member, already titled 'Child of Nature,' must have awakened something special.

That alone wouldn't have made them so interested.

The bigger reason was that, according to Roxie, almost all transmigrators had their own unique "cheats" or golden fingers. That was what really piqued everyone's curiosity.

Brandon, for his part, had no idea what Roxie had told them, and honestly, even if he did, he wouldn't have cared much.

He didn't really have any sort of "cheat." The Authority of Nature wasn't much in the grand scheme of the multiverse. If anything, the chat group itself was more of a cheat than his actual powers.

Child of Nature: "It's just a group name, nothing that special."

Child of Nature: "Druids, elemental magic, nature's blessing—all these things could count as 'Children of Nature,' but that doesn't mean they're all powerful."

Child of Nature: "Also, @Ordinary Group Leader, what exactly have you been telling everyone? Why do they all seem to know so much?"

Child of Nature: "Oh, and you transmigrated from Earth too? How did that happen?"

Ordinary Group Leader: "Sorry! I figured I couldn't really fool them anyway, so I just decided to be honest from the start."

Ordinary Group Leader: "Hehe."

Roxie scratched her head, a bit embarrassed by Brandon's comment, but quickly replied.

Ordinary Group Leader: "As for transmigrating, I honestly have no idea how it happened. I just woke up in a new world—one of those high-martial, spiritual energy worlds."

Ordinary Group Leader: "Supposedly, the top experts here can destroy planets, though I don't know if that's actually true."

Ordinary Group Leader: "So, how did you cross over?"

Ordinary Group Leader: "Just curious~"

Child of Nature: "Can't argue with you there. Even if you gain people's trust at first, with more members joining, any lies would fall apart sooner or later."

Child of Nature: "But I've never seen anyone so completely upfront before."

Child of Nature: "My transmigration was pretty random too. Just happened without warning."

Child of Nature: "But unlike you, who crossed into a high-martial world, my world only just awakened spiritual energy today."

Child of Nature: "By the way, what time is it?"

Child of Nature: "It's already ten? Time flies."

Child of Nature: "Let's talk more another time. I'm off to bed—got school in the morning."

Ding! Member Child of Nature has gone offline.

With Brandon's departure, the chat group was left speechless, a flurry of question marks filling the chat.

Roxie didn't know what to say for a moment.

Seriously, a transmigrator, someone who just experienced a spiritual revival and joined an interdimensional chat group—

And he's going to sleep so he can get up for school tomorrow?

How could anyone actually sleep at a time like this? Wasn't he even a little excited?

She rested her chin on her hand, frustrated. After all, it wasn't every day you ran into a fellow Earthling here—she'd had so many things she wanted to ask.

But on Brandon's end, the whole spiritual revival and chat group didn't throw him off much. No matter what, sleep was still important, and school still needed attending.

Still, there were some noticeable effects from the spiritual revival. The air felt fresher, and even his sleep quality was better.

When he woke up, Brandon washed up and checked the news online.

Aside from reports about the Seven Stars Alignment, there wasn't much else. Apparently, no jokers online were bragging about awakening superpowers.

Or maybe anyone who tried got their posts taken down by the government.

"The chat group said that after I awakened the Authority of Nature, I became the luckiest person on Earth."

"But the one with the greatest fate isn't always the most powerful. Just like in novels, the protagonist's talent is often weaker than others', but fate is what lets them last until the end."

"I wonder what sort of abilities other people will awaken. That's what I'm really curious about."

"In any case, with spiritual energy returning and people awakening abilities, the world's bound to get a lot more interesting. I just hope things don't spiral out of control for our country."

"After all, power makes people bolder."

"And it's not just humans—animals and plants will start changing too, and they could be just as dangerous to people."

What would the future Earth look like? Only time would tell.

One thing was certain: the revival of spiritual energy would bring changes the world hadn't seen in thousands of years.

Brandon shook his head, putting those thoughts aside. It was about time for school.

Senior year of high school was a critical period. For day students like him, the teachers were extra strict—being late was not an option.
