Thankfully, the guest room was always cleaned every weekend. If not, she doubted she would even be able to sleep or close her eyes in it. She sat at the edge of the bed, picked up her phone again, and stared at Dorian's message. The glowing light from the screen shone on her face illuminating her beautiful, long lashes.
Her thumb lingered over it for a second, but she quickly locked the phone and tossed it aside. She wasn't ready to deal with the thought of him tonight. She curled under the duvet, letting exhaustion pull her under.

Her brows furrowed, and she tried to bury her head into the pillow, but the noise only grew louder.
"Estelle! Open this door right now, or I'll break it down!"
Her eyes flew open instantly and her chest tightening as the voice sank in.
"Blaise…" The name slipped from her lips before her mind could fully process anything.
