Chapter 1: 100% Luck System
The boy had no friends since childhood, and by the time he was twenty-five, he still had none. He had experienced a wealth of life, from birth until he became an alcoholic and unemployed.
When angry, he would attack the boy. Once he had a job, he tried to run away. His mother died when he was young.
The boy had grown up with many cruel things, and now he's twenty-five years old. When he died twenty-five years ago, his addiction to the world caused him to die. Time began to pass, and the pitch-black darkness filled the air. Voices from the outside world could be heard.
"Look, honey! We have another lovely son!"
"Hahaha! This is my son! Hahaha! This is what we need to celebrate. Let's celebrate to the fullest!" The boy opened his eyes from the pitch-black darkness to reveal:
A large man wearing green clothing resembling a warrior's, with green floral patterns, and a young woman carrying him.
The boy was a woman with a simple appearance, dressed in white, and a smile that looked at the child like her own.
A man named Somen, with short black hair and a wound on his face, stuck his tongue out at the boy. And a woman with short, white hair that reached her neck was named Serin.
Serin smiled and said, "From now on, your name is Seraph." Serin stared into Seraph's eyes, still stunned at being reincarnated. Time passed, and a boy sat under a tree with waist-length golden hair.
With eyes glowing golden, his handsome features and the golden-yellow clothing of a warrior, he was reading a book with the word "luck" written on it. His name was Seraph.
Seraph was sitting reading with a calm expression, as if he didn't care about the people.
Under a green tree three times the size of a tree,
A fresh breeze blew by, and the sun shone down. Seraph closed the book, and a rectangular box appeared in front of him, a golden system with the number 100 written on it.
Seraph thought, [Since I was reincarnated, many things have happened.] A family of middle status, not very wealthy, and able to make a living.
This world is a world of martial artists who train. Strength is everything. It's divided into five regions that rule the entire world. This village is called Gollen, and the region where they reside is August.
I'm going to a school to test my qualifications as a martial artist. I'm currently sitting in the breeze, waiting for the carriage to arrive. I'm five years old now.]
Seraph was sitting in the breeze.
A young girl was running hurriedly.
She was dressed in white, with waist-length hair and white eyes that captivated any man. She had an object hanging from her, shaped like a small book the size of an index finger.
Her name was Seria, a year younger than Seraph. She was Seraph's younger sister.
Seria arrived with a smile on her face.
"My brother sent me to pick you up. He said he was leaving."
"Hmm."
Seraph stood up, grabbed the book, and walked unhurriedly with a calm expression. Seria followed closely.
"It seems like there's a village martial arts competition for a level 2 ability item. Are you interested in joining, big brother?"
"No, if you can join, I'll take your place. A martial arts battle isn't easy to win. There's still plenty of time. If you want it, just wait until you become a cultivator."
Seria followed, seeing many villagers preparing for a competition for a level 2 item.
"What item are they competing for?"
"Heh heh, heh. Don't you know? That's so curious. Are you kidding me?"
"What do you mean? The interestingness of the competition depends on the magical abilities being held."
"I don't think you really know, even though you're so powerful. But never mind. It's a competition for a magical item called luck."
"Luck, huh?" "
"Are you interested, big brother? If I join, there are no rules."
"Is that so? I'd like to join, but I definitely wouldn't be able to compete."
[There are many magical items divided into nine levels: low, high, and middle. They're divided by level, with those who use higher-level magical items having an advantage.
This leads to a scramble to acquire magical items to cultivate. There's no single most powerful item, only the strongest user. This is a term used by martial artists all over the world.]
Seraph was walking with Seria when a carriage was speeding down the road. The carriage's driver was out of control. The horses were shaking like their wheels were broken.
"Move! Move! I'm passing this way! My carriage is out of control!!!"
The out-of-control carriage was about to crash into Seraph. Seria screamed, "Aaaaahh!!!" Seraph stood there, his expression calm and composed.
[Is this 100-Luck System good or bad?]
A man ran up to Seraph. Whoosh! Boom!
A large man, around twenty years old, reached out his right hand to the charging horse and swung his hand to grab the horse's head, slamming it into the ground. Whoosh! Boom! The berserk horse was knocked unconscious by the man's hand. This man had short black hair, a sword at his waist, and was wearing a black robe. His name was Ju Song.
Ju Song looked at the unconscious horse and looked at the people hurriedly getting out of the carriage. An elderly man with long black hair, wearing a luxurious gold robe,
walked down with the air of an old man. Agen. Agen stepped down and bowed his head in sincere apology, as the villagers looked at Ju Song.
"I'm truly sorry. We didn't know this would happen. I'm truly sorry."
Ju Song nodded. "You'd better be more careful next time. If I hadn't stopped you, those two kids... He must have been seriously injured.
Agen walked up to Seraph and handed him a silver coin.
"This old man, I truly apologize. I didn't think this would happen."
"It's okay. Neither of us is hurt, so it's okay."
Seraph refused with a straight face. Agen reached out to grab Seraph's hand and handed him a silver coin before returning to the carriage.
Seraph turned to look at Seria, who had stopped screaming and was in tears. Seraph reached out to stroke Seria's head until she stopped crying. Seraph turned to look at Jusong.
"Thank you very much. I have to go now. I'll be going now." Seraph grabbed Seria's arm and walked away.
Jusong smiled suspiciously. [He's a quick thank you, even before we even talked.]
But never mind, it's none of my business. This alone has already established a reputation as a good person. It was a good idea to set a trap in the carriage to cause an accident.
Let the villagers cheer me on. This is the taste of happiness from doing good.]
The villagers all praised Jusong. Meanwhile, Seraph, walking along, saw an old woman looking for food, looking for scraps in a trash can. The old woman was searching for scraps in the trash can.
Seraph, looking at the silver coin he had just received, walked towards the old woman looking for scraps and told Seria to wait a moment. Seraph stood behind the old woman.
He walked over and threw a silver coin into another trash can the woman was searching in. Seraph dropped the coin and left. The woman searching for scraps quickly looked back at the other trash can. The woman picked it up in shock.
"This is a silver coin! Doesn't that blonde boy know it's valuable!?"
The woman hurriedly snatched the silver coin, afraid others would see. Fortunately, the people around were busy with their daily lives. The hardship left her no time to pay attention to the girl searching for scraps of food in the trash. Time passed, and the girl who had collected the silver coins from Seraph ran hurriedly.
The girl arrived at a place that looked like a market, where wares were being sold, with people strolling leisurely. She looked around, and it looked like a gambling den within the market.
People in elegant attire walked into the gambling den. The girl grabbed a single coin and sat down. In front of her was a machine with gold coins.
A huge amount of coins were spinning. The girl smiled excitedly. [This time, it was my gamble. I had already invested a huge amount to win money from this machine by tossing coins.]
The girl placed a single silver coin in front of the machine. The machine, filled with a huge amount of coins, sucked the silver coins in.
The huge amount of gold coins began to spin like a storm. Whoosh!! Three numbers appeared in front of the girl, spinning like a slot machine. Another place where Seraph was walking, a curious Seria asked:
"What a shame, big brother. You threw away a single silver coin. What can you buy with that? What a shame?" "
Seria expressed her regret at the money, but her brother, whose mind was lost, dismissed it easily. Seraph remained cold. "The silver coin I got is connected to that girl."
"What do you mean?"
[The line of luck, huh?]
The place where the girl had brought the money to spin the slots. The three numbers formed the letter O O O. The slot machine sounded like a loud bang! Ping! Ping! Ping! The girl gasped in shock. An endless stream of gold coins poured out. The people passing by reacted with shock.
"Look, someone won!!" "That guy's gone crazy!" "Hey, look at the amount of gold pouring out!" "This girl is so lucky!!" The girl who won the prize [Thank God]. And then, the whole place erupted in laughter.
