Chapter 28 - TOA 28: A Fun Game

Medea sighed, sitting alone on a wooden chair crafted from aged timber, its faint pine scent lingering in the air. Her gaze drifted toward the intricately carved wooden room on the second floor.

The evening sun's glow filtered through sparse clouds, casting a warm yet slightly lonely ambiance over the eaves and window frames, evoking the charm of ancient Greek myth.

That loneliness tinged Medea's eyes with a hint of resentment.

Complex emotions swirled within her... solitude and longing spreading like the evening's chill. Her fingers absently toyed with the tender leaves of a nearby vine, her gaze revealing a delicate, youthful sensitivity.

"Medea!" Artemis' voice broke the quiet like a burst of spring sunlight. With a mischievous grin, she crept up behind Medea, enveloping her in a sudden hug, her cheek brushing against Medea's. It was as if she could sense every subtle ripple in Medea's heart.

The Moon Goddess, wearing a playful expression, pinched Medea's cheek and teased, "Feeling a bit needy?"

As a goddess yet to experience the throes of love, Artemis spoke with the confidence of a seasoned veteran.

If she lived in a future world and became an avid internet surfer, she'd fit right in.

"N-No way!" Medea's face flushed as she hurriedly denied it. But under Artemis' knowing, smiling gaze, she nodded faintly. "Well… maybe…"

Having tasted intimacy only to be abruptly cut off was a painful ordeal.

"Don't worry, he's probably feeling the same. He's got to rest and can't do anything right now," Artemis said, glancing at the second floor and muttering, "Serves him right for messing with magic experiments!"

Then her eyes lit up. "Hey, you could tease him!"

"Tease?" Medea blinked, puzzled.

Artemis grinned. "Look at him now. Get him all worked up, then leave him hanging. Do it a few times, and he'll think twice before pulling stunts like that again!"

Medea froze, stunned by Artemis' bizarre idea. Yet, somehow, it sounded… fun. In a single sentence, Artemis had sparked an eager urge in her.

After a "long" second of inner "turmoil," Medea decided to follow Artemis' suggestion and teach Morpheus a lesson!

Morpheus was diligently studying the new knowledge in his mind. Unable to indulge in passion, he channeled his energy into learning... because he was a "studious" person.

"As expected, when it comes to space and time... or unified spacetime... the bubbles of this world and the other share commonalities in their magical rituals.

"These commonalities stem from fundamental spacetime theories. While their applications may differ due to system variations, weaving rituals based on core principles remains consistent. If I adapt these methods and integrate them into my own magic…"

The detoxification process was ongoing, but faster than Morpheus anticipated. He suspected his high compatibility with Yog-Sothoth was the reason. By now, he'd nearly purged the poison, with only a small remnant left.

Still, since he'd said he needed two weeks of rest, he intended to stick to it... unless an irresistible force intervened.

Raising his hand, reflections of the four elements... earth, wind, water, fire... appeared around him. Simultaneously, a shadowy form materialized before him.

It resembled a staff, but unlike the red rod symbolizing fire, this was a silvery-white entity, blooming like a flower at its tip.

It represented the fifth element: Aether!

The five elements intertwined, combining. Magical energy gathered at Morpheus' fingertips as he traced words in the air... pure descriptions that summoned more magical energy, influencing reality.

Space warped!

Time bent in that moment!

Not through massive objects like "black holes," but by altering spacetime itself.

"It works. If I keep going, I could tear through spacetime or even break the world's barriers."

Morpheus muttered, dispelling the magic. As the energy dissipated, he sank back onto the bed, lost in thought.

"When does the Argo's adventure start? I feel like a gamer waiting for the devs to drop a new quest in a dead period…"

As he grumbled, the door creaked open. Purple hair came into view, followed by a girl's playful smile.

"Morpheus, wanna play?" Medea asked, her expression clearly up to no good.

Morpheus, curious to see her scheme, replied, "Play what?"

"I'm just bored, so I thought we could chat!" Medea said, sauntering over.

She swayed her hips, her petite frame irresistibly alluring. With a light spin, she sat on the edge of his bed.

She leaned close... so close he could smell the fresh, woody scent on her.

As if suddenly drained of strength, she rested against his shoulder, whispering, "How about I feed you some wine?"

"Sure," Morpheus said, already guessing her plan.

But what Medea did next made his eyes widen.

She took a jug of wine, poured it into her mouth, and then leaned in for a gentle kiss!

"Mmph…"

The wine was sweet, but her teasing was far more potent. As Morpheus' breathing quickened, Medea giggled and sprang up to flee.

Her hand was caught!

Medea yelped, "Your body's not up for this... you can't mess around!"

But Morpheus didn't let go, grinning. "My body's recovered faster than I thought!"

Medea tried to resist, but he pulled her close, and she tumbled into his arms. Feeling the heat of his chest, she struggled briefly but soon went limp, her cheeks flushed, eyes slowly closing.

After days of restraint, the girl couldn't hold back any longer!
