Synopsis
A boy, born from two pureblood families, isn't exactly that what he should have become. Instead he becomes an incubus. With no one like him and a lot of powers no one else has, watch him live through Hogwarts and play with others purely for his amusement or will he get caught up in all the politics and powers struggles? ------ This is the first time that I'm writing something like this so criticism is always welcome as long as you are nice about it. Chapter 1 - Prologue

11th February 1989

It was a quiet morning in London.

In an old house a 10-year-old boy with the left half of his hair white, and the right side black, walked down the long stairs.

When he walked by the painting of his grandmother, who died 2 years ago, he smiled sadly and greeted her with a small head bow, "Good morning, grandma."

She looked at him and her lips curled into a small smile, "Good morning, Alaric. You know, I'd still like it more, if you'd make your hair completely black."

"I know, I know. You say that every time I walk by you. But you know as well as I do, that I'm not... normal," he didn't look downcast or anything like that after saying that. Rather, he looked... happy, "So why should I look like everyone else and not a bit more noticeable. And anyways, I can't even leave the House right now, so why should I care," by the end of it he was a bit angry and looked her dead in her eyes, narrowing his.

"You know exactly why you can't go outside, young man. Until Narcissa says that you have your aura and hypnosis under control, you wouldn't just harm other people but also yourself," she finished with a stern gaze of her own.

"Yeah, I know. It's just that... I never had human contact other than you and Cissa."

Walburga's eyes softened considerably after hearing that. "Then you will have to master these traits of yours as soon as possible. Now off you go. Narcissa should be here within the hour. So, if you don't hurry up, you might have to train without having eaten breakfast."

He just shook his head with a smile on his face, "You know as good as I, that that's not the best way of energy intake incubi has," he finished with a small, mischievous smile at the corners of his mouth.

"Yes, I taught you that. But you are still way too young. So, till you're older, this will do." She finished with a small nick to the dining room.

He considered keeping going for a bit longer but decided against it because he really needed to eat, when Cissa was coming over to train him today. The training wasn't particularly taxing, but they wouldn't take a break till she left to go home, which normally was in the evenings.

But he had to say, the training bore fruits. He could already control his aura and hypnosis, but he must concentrate to almost completely control his aura which, over long periods of time get complicated and tiring. And that's all thanks to Cissa. Without her, he wouldn't even be able to train these things with someone, who wouldn't have problems with his aura and accidental hypnosis.

Not many people knew this about Cissa, but she was a master of Occlumency. Which means that she was the only one Walburga trusted enough to let near him, since he was 6.

---

"I finally got it!"

A loud, young voice rang throughout the house which Walburga wasn't expecting.

In a room a few floors higher, a boy sat in front of a lightly amused Narcissa, "Yeah, you were able to almost completely suppress your aura the last few times I was here. I didn't even need the occlumency shields."

Alaric smiled happily, "Does that mean, I can go outside now?"

"You still can't go out alone because you're still only 10 but..." she stopped, watching him, already back to his standard confident and surprisingly, 'well not really, if you know what he is' slightly flirty expression. "You can come over to my house and get to know my family. And if that goes well, then you can even come with us, or me, when we go outside or go to social gatherings. Because even though you have never been with anyone other than Walburga or me." she looked down for a second, when she remembered his father, "You're still the heir to the most Noble and Ancient house of Black."

He sighed and stood up after hearing this, although you can see the small smile he had on the corners of his mouth. "I look forward to getting to know everyone else."

---

Everything went smoothly for the next 4 years, so he was allowed to go outside alone. But before he did that, he wrote a letter to Madam Amelia Bones, requesting her help in learning to Dream Walk, which is strictly regulated under the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and since he had met her a few times before and had a relatively good relationship with Susan Bones from the few times they met, he hoped she would help him.

It wasn't exactly a secret that he was an incubus, at least in pureblood circles, but what many interested was how that could have happened.

He knew his mother was a pureblood witch from the Gaunt house, even if it wasn't the main family with no recorded history of having children with incubi with the same being true for the Black house.

But no one found out, till now, how that's possible but most just assumed that this just activated in me and that one of the families somewhere an incubus had.

To be honest, most simply didn't care enough to try dig it up.

After sending the letter he went and flooed to Diagon Alley to look around and train his Emotion Sensing which couldn't be trained with only one person. He had to be able to sense who feels what and not what everyone feels and guess who's feeling what.

---

When Amelia Bones got the letter, she was quite surprised he thought about that and hadn't just learned it in secret. So, after thinking about it shortly, she didn't see any downsides except that she would have more to do.

In contrast, if she would decline, he might still learn it but with someone who might not be as skilled as her in occlumency. Which could have really bad consequences for both parties. If the other person didn't know what they were doing, and him just following his instincts, he could make them do things which could lead to death or complete submissiveness to him.

She quickly wrote a letter formally inviting him to Bones Manor to start learning and sent it.
