Chapter 6 - Your chorus.

I've been holding my breath

Hoping that you would text

Me.

What's next? We

Can go get some breakfast

See.

Could be

Something interesting.

I gave you my number.

Hoping that something would bloom

I don't mean to encumber.

-

I feel like I've been waiting for you.

Hoping that the Universe would

Just somehow implore you.

Then you looked into my eyes

And asked me:

"Hey...how old are you?"

And I lit up

And offered up

To go and grab a drink or two.

I think that you

Are pretty gorgeous.

Yeah, my attraction is enormous

Let's not judge

Each other

Before trust can

Grow before us.

-

Are you ready for my forest?

I am ready for your chorus.

It's been too long.

I need that song.

I think I'm ready to explore us.

-

I think I have a crush

On this girl at the deli.

She gives me butterflies

And my eyelids feel all heavy.

And

I think I'd date her

Maybe,

Baby

If she'd let me.

If I don't see her again

I hope she won't forget me.

-

I'm still holding my breath.

Maybe I'll die before she texts me.

Maybe that chemistry

Was an illusion.

Nothing left, we

Don't know each other

Under cover

Is what our fate is

I'm just being patient

Till I find out

What our place is.
