Elara's POV
The memory floods into my mind like a vivid dream.
And for the first scene? Her hazel eyes are the first living things I see. They are just like mine, guiltless as they look at me. Her fingers brush through my hair as though comparing our similarities.
"Mum?"
"Yes, Elara." She smiles at me. "Finally. We've left the packs of werewolves." She stops, her smile going a faint. "Even now, we still have to be careful. No where is a safe haven.*
Her fingers caress my cheeks, but her eyes are kind of wet?
She turns to a girl standing a few steps from the bathtub I'm in. "Claudia, you prefer being with humans, right?"
I don't know this other girl, or I can't remember. She might be a stranger, just maybe. But somehow, it feels alright for her to be this close to where I'm bathing. What if she's a relative?
Relatives… I can't remember any of them.
"Elara… are you alright?" Velora's voice calls me back from this fog.
