Elara's POV
I'm admitting to having lost control of myself. I can't think like I should, but I'm driven by an urge—an urge that goes far above my rational thinking.
It couldn't let me remain in Velora's room. But I don't know where it's leading me. Cassian's room might appear to be the end point, but it isn't. It's just a pathway.
It's like loud drums, heavy bells, loud trumpets. I can't resist.
"I should confirm… the patterns wouldn't be a mere co-existence."
I've not thought about how I'm supposed to escape the gammas watchful eyes in order to land myself in Cassian's room. But I must get in. The gammas who might be walking around can't stop me.
I know Velora is mad at this. All this wouldn't have become a reality if she'd told me all I need to know.
After three more steps, I feel another hand grip me from behind. "Elara."
I stop, turning back to see who it is. "Ssbrina."
