Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Powerful Psychokinesis

"F***k…"

Facing the bullets hanging motionless in midair, only one thought echoed in the minds of the HYDRA operatives.

"Give them back to you."

Allens' left hand flicked gently. The suspended bullets suddenly spun around and flew back at double the speed, fueled by his Psychokinesis.

Peng! Peng! Peng!

The bullets slammed into the HYDRA agents like miniature meteors. The kinetic force hurled them backward, smashing them into shopfronts and concrete walls.

Hissss…

Their bulletproof vests stopped the rounds from killing them instantly, but the impact left bullets embedded deep in their flesh. Blood seeped out, and even these hardened soldiers screamed in agony.

"Not enough?"

A mocking smile curled at the corner of Allens' lips. He clenched his right hand slightly.

The agent he had suspended in midair let out a strangled cry. Invisible force constricted around him, bones cracking audibly. Blood spilled from his nose and mouth as his eyes bulged red with pressure.

Peng!

Allens gave a casual flick of his wrist. The man shot backwards like a ragdoll, smashing into a wall. The impact carved a crater into the concrete.

"Rise."

Allens' face was cold as ice. With a small motion of his index finger, Psychokinesis surged outward. Every wounded agent around him was yanked upward, their bodies frozen in midair like dolls.

"Monster… this guy's a monster…"

Deep underground, inside HYDRA's Manhattan base, Commander Hodgson Barnett slammed his fist against the table. Rage twisted his features, but underneath it was something worse—fear.

On the surveillance feed, Allens raised his finger toward one captive agent's neck… and slowly drew it across.

Chi—chi—chi…

A red line appeared across the agent's throat, spreading in sync with Allens' finger as though an invisible blade were sawing through flesh and muscle.

"Ugh…"

The agent screamed as his windpipe was severed inch by inch, until his voice choked off mid-scream. His body dropped lifelessly to the pavement.

"A monster… a complete monster…"

The surviving agents—Mike Colby among them—stared in horror. Fear was eroding even their indoctrination in HYDRA's cause.

Allens ignored them, exhaling lightly. "So this is the true power of Psychokinesis. Defense, offense, even mobility… it really is a panacea ability. No wonder it's called the path to becoming a devil."

His gaze sharpened. "Now. Question and answer. I ask—you answer."

His words dripped with power. Even without raising his voice, every agent obeyed.

"Where is HYDRA's Manhattan base?"

Trapped midair, trembling, one of the agents spilled everything under the compulsion of Allen's persuasion.

"Our base is underground, on Velour Street, East Manhattan. The entrance is hidden in the phone booth at 1023 Velour. The booth's actually an elevator that leads directly down."

"F**k… I gave away HYDRA's secrets…"

Mike Colby's eyes filled with despair as he realized what he'd said. A loyal fanatic, he instinctively clenched his jaw, preparing to crush the cyanide capsule hidden in his teeth.

But Allens spoke first.

"If I were you, I wouldn't. Only by living can you take revenge… and continue serving your organization."

The compulsion in his voice sank deep. Even suicide required Allen's permission.

Mike froze. His trembling eased, and then his voice rasped: "You're right… I can't die yet. I still want revenge."

"Good. That's it. Good boy."

Allens smirked cruelly, lifting his finger once more.

Chi—chi—chi.

One by one, the elite agents' throats opened like paper cuts, crimson lines blooming across their necks. Bodies fell limp, crashing onto the pavement in a chorus of dull thuds.

Only Mike Colby remained alive, held aloft by invisible force.

"W-what are you doing…?"

Mike's voice shook as terror consumed him. To him, Allens no longer looked human—he was a demon king walking the earth.

Allens clasped his hands behind his back, expression calm and merciless. "If you dare spy on me again… then be ready to meet death."

Mike's body floated helplessly behind him, bound completely by Psychokinesis.

Allens rose slowly into the air, his body lifted by pure mental force. It wasn't as fast as a superhero's flight, but it was steady, faster than any car.

Whoosh!

Both he and the captive HYDRA agent streaked through the sky, heading straight toward Velour Street.
