Su MeiMei was standing on door and looked at his cousin cooking like goddess of kitchen.
A cloud of steam surrounded her as she opened the pot and delicious smells press, making her belly to loudly protest.
Actually, she was not a greedy person but in this moment she just wanted to eat with them.
"Sister, can I eat with you?" She cutely blinked at Su Fei and saw her chuckling.
The cloud around her made her look like a fairy and her soft smile made even MeiMei blush.
Su Fei's lips twitched as she saw her cousin sizing her up like she was some sort of praised horse on auction.
The heck is going on in this kids head all day long.
A small wicked smile showed her canine teeth and made Su Yue step back.
Oh no, her sister is planning something evil again.
Last time she showed this smile, a you gan that wanted to trip their father lost his footings and broke all four of his front teeth.

"You want to eat. Ok! But no one in this house, including father is eating for free. Rice is steaming and in time between we can prepare some side dishes. Come here and wash these vegetables.Yue, control fire. Don't let it be too hot or our rice will burn."

Actually, her own cooking was so devious that whole family, including the ten brothers, their wives and children, refused letting her get close to food.

Su Quan was just at elders house hwne Su MeiMei came back crying like there isn't tomorrow.
Everyone literally jumped from their seats. "What happened?"
Su MeiMei started crying now even louder. "The two bullied me. I asked them to eat their food and they said they will give em only if I work. Father..." She started choking from tears and hugged her father while her grandfather looked at Su Quan in wonder.
Su Quan blinked in wonder. "Don't tell me you as girl never learned how to cook at home?"
Everyone shook their heads simultaneously. "No. She didn't. Everyone was petting her since childhood. She didn't need to learn such things."
Su Quan could only shake their heads. "I have ten sons. That means I have ten daughter-in-law. My daughter's as well didn't have to learn. But one day my wife before passing for angry. But none of them could get angry at the kid then at tgemslwves for raising her this reckless.

Su Fei finished cooking just when Su Quan came back and served food.
It was simple meal with tasty steamed white rice, some fried meat with vegetables, some pickles and warm egg drop soup.
Nothing heavy but satiating.
Su Quan didn't eat his daughters food now for years and realized that with time she might have changed.
The person who ate most of the food was literally herself. She tried many ways to make simple meals tasty with seasonings form forests and sureoudnings that's he invented her own way off cooking dishes.
The scent slowly spread in sureoundings and cries of children in neighborhood was hwrad as they wanted to eat the tasty food but their families had no way to make it.
Su Fei ignored the cries and as Su Quan already locked the gate, no own couro bother them.
But they didn't realize how spoiled Su MeiMei was.
Just as Su Quan was about to start eating food, a banging sound made him almost deop his bowl out of fright.
Su Fei slowly stood up and saw him opening gate.
Almost like a flash of light a colorful girl rushed inside and was about to reach for Su Quan's food when she was grabbed by neck by Su Fei, dragged to gates and literally kicked out.
She closed gate, locked it from inside and pushed her flabbergasted father to the table. "There is whole Su clan outside. Trust me. She won't get hungry. You knowy stubbornness. Only those that deserve it will get to eat it. Sit and rest. You deserve it. Father, let's just enjoy our lives without worrying about others. Hm?"
He could only boi k few times and looked at the gate that separated them from girl that was rolling on ground from anger.
"I want you at it as well. You bully me too much, waaaaaaah!" Her cries echoed literally trough half of the village and this time no own came to help her as they felt she really was overstepping this time.
Even her grandfather just turned around in anger.
