"Who feeds you information, Mikhail?" Kade asked. "You should definitely take back your pay from them, because they feed you crap."
Alpha Viktor sneered. "But we all know that. If you had any intention of claiming her, you would have done so already."
Knox's hands flexed on the table, and his claws threatened to break the skin. But he remained mute. Were they lesser men, he would have torn their throats.
"She is a traitor's sister," Alpha Mikhail added, his voice dripping with contempt. "If you will not claim her, then you must allow her to face proper punishment."
There was a low, derisive chuckle from Alpha Varg, whose wolfish grin split his scarred face. "You think yourselves above the law of the packs? You do not intend to claim her, yet deny us the right to witness her breaking. We all lost kin because of Thorne."
The chamber buzzed again as others murmured and nodded in agreement.
