Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 : Wild sheep

Evolved animals are highly territorial species that value balance, strength, and survival within their domains. They prefer to remain in their own territory, rarely venturing into the lands of others unless necessary. Mutual respect plays a key role in their interactions. When two species possess equal strength, they often avoid direct conflict, acknowledging each other's power and boundaries. However, these creatures are opportunistic and constantly alert to shifts in strength. If they sense that a neighboring species has grown weak, they quickly seize the opportunity to challenge them. Through decisive battles, they defeat rivals and expand their domain, securing more space and resources. This expansion continues until they reach the limit of what their territory can sustain in terms of food and survival needs.

When both Srini and Manu were running from Raju and Ravi, disaster struck.

Srini was suddenly sent flying through the air and crashed hard against the wall of a building. Manu, watching in shock as Srini was hurled past him .

But then, when Manu turned his head, he suddenly distanced himself.

Something had appeared beside him.

The creature stood with thick brown fur, a massive body, and horns that curved like a thick black rods—two large spiraling horns and two smaller ones jutting proudly above its head while the small one are not spiral its look like a small part of the horn were emerged from head . Its emerald-green eyes locked onto Manu like a predator marking its prey. Though its size was only about two feet tall, it radiated aggression and wild power.

"What… no, not again. We actually encountered another evolved animal," Manu said by looking at horned sheep

By looking at the evolved horned sheep, both Ravi and Raj stopped in their place and ran away to hide behind the ruins.

"They deserved it after he took my thing, which I kept for a special occasion, and sold it to another person," Ravi said.

"What… what are you saying?" Raj questioned.

"You won't understand. Just enjoy how they get beaten up," Ravi said.

"If they are alive, I will teach them a lesson, especially the person who took my thing," Ravi said, clenching his fist.

Manu was shocked to see the horned sheep in front of him, but it felt like it was still not an adult. Its size was only two feet tall, yet it looked aggressive.

The horned sheep looked at Manu and started to scratch the ground with its front leg. Then it lowered its head and charged forward at Manu, running at full speed.

"What? Why is it charging at me? I need to escape," Manu thought.

At the last moment, Manu dodged sideways, barely avoiding the horns

Srini, who had crashed into the wall, was unconscious.

The horned sheep, knowing it had missed Manu, took position again.

"Snort…" the sheep made a harsh sound.

Now it looked truly aggressive. It stomped on the ground and, without wasting a second, charged again. At the last moment, it leapt at Manu and increased its speed. This time Manu was unable to react in time and fell down.

When Manu tried to get up, he felt a sharp pain in his left side of the waist. The horned sheep had struck him with its circular horn.

"Ahhhhhhh!...." Manu screamed in pain.

He raised his upper body, clutching his side with his hand. When he looked at the horned sheep, it stood watching him, a faint, satisfied curl at the edge of its mouth almost like a smile.

"You… I will never let you go alive!" Manu shouted.

But the sheep now looked more aggressive. It bent its head and rubbed its horns on the ground like crazy. Then it raised and lowered its head repeatedly, provoking him to fight.

Manu, struggling to keep himself upright.

"I need to run and escape from here. If not, I'll be killed by its strikes", Manu thought desperately

He tried to get on his feet. Seeing this, the horned sheep charged again.

As it came rushing toward him, Manu rolled sideways on the ground, narrowly escaping.

He managed to get up on his feet barely .

"Why… does it feel like I'm in the air?" Manu thought, dazed.

The next moment, Manu fell on his knees buckled. He collapsed, holding his stomach with both hands, his head hanging down.

A wave of intense pain spread through his body.

"Ahhhhhh!..." Manu screamed as saliva dripped from his mouth, tinged with a trace of blood.

The horned sheep stomped the ground again, preparing for another charge.
