Chapter 19 - Chapter 19:First kill

Then Manu, without hesitation, moved out of the room through the door and started to run toward the stairs to reach the top floor.

With a hard strike, the horned sheep broke the wall. It was in full anger to kill Manu. When it entered the room, it was unable to find him. Then, by looking at the open door, it moved out of the room. There it was able to see Manu running, and it started to follow him.

When Manu looked through window below the building, he was able to see the ruins of the building. But the special thing was that, along with the ruins, there were also metal rods sticking out from the cement. The metallic rods were pointed toward the sky.

'If I can make it fall from above, I can kill it,' Manu thought and started to move toward the top floor.

But when he reached the second floor, he found that the stairs connecting to the third floor were ruined and they were destroyed.

"What? Why always, when in need, luck doesn't favor me?" Manu said while looking at the broken stairs.

The horned sheep, which was also coming behind, was in full rage.

By looking at the horned sheep, Manu, without thinking, entered the house and closed the door.

Manu was able to see the window.

Then Manu ran toward the window.

"I just need to lure the demon toward the window and make it fall," Manu thought.

When Manu reached the window and peeped down, he was able to see the ruins. But there was a problem ,the ruins were too near to the wall, and they were not located exactly towards the center of window. They were at the corner of the window. And the main thing—the vines climbing the building were also at the side of the window. By looking at the odd situation, Manu's body started to tremble in fear.

But the only thing in favor of Manu was that the wall across the window was full of cracks.

"I was thinking I could make the demon jump while hanging with the help of vines (climbing plants), but now everything is against me," Manu thought.

"What did I do? I should have never lured it into the building. I should have lured it away. Why did I enter and trap myself?" Manu thought.

"Think… think… you can do it. Think anything," Manu thought desperately.

By that time, the horned sheep entered the room by breaking the door.

When it looked at Manu, who was standing straight opposite to it, by seeing Manu, its face muscles started to move in anger, and its teeth started to show.

Manu, looking at the horned sheep, made a bold decision.

"Yes, if I stand at the exact point where the ruins are present, and if I jump at the exact moment, I can send it to its death," Manu thought.

Then Manu adjusted his position and stood at the exact spot. He moved his arms outside the window to hold the vines for support.

The horned sheep started to scratch its legs, then, without wasting any time, it rushed toward Manu.

Looking at the horned sheep rushing, Manu bent his knees to jump.

When the horned sheep reached near Manu, Manu jumped, and with the help of the vines for support, he was able to jump higher.

But the horned sheep also jumped and hit Manu's stomach with full force.

Due to this, the wall, which already had cracks, was destroyed.

"Why does everything feel so slow? What… what is this?" Manu thought.

Then suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his stomach, and the pain was so intense that Manu started to loosen his grip.

When Manu looked below, the horned sheep was falling toward the debris where the metal rods were pointing at the sky.

While falling, the horned sheep was looking toward Manu.

"This is what I wanted to do to you for what you did to us previously. And there is another gift," Manu thought, and by pointing the sharp side of the stainless steel rod toward the sheep which he was holding in hand, he let go of it.

The horned sheep, with its speed, slammed into the debris, and the metal rods, which were quite sharp, pierced all over its body.

Due to this, the sheep screamed loudly and it was like an actual scream in pain.

And the rod fell exactly at the throat, piercing through it, and got stuck in the debris.

With its throat pierced, the screams of the sheep stopped along with it.

But Manu's grip on the vines started to loosen. He was unable to hold himself, and he could not get back to the window because he had already slid down. He had no strength to climb either, and due to the pain, his grip got weaker, and blood was flowing from his mouth.

Then suddenly, Manu's grip on the vines loosened completely, and he started to fall onto the debris.
