Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 : Wild Sheep(2)

Srini was hit by the sheep while he was running. The hit was not very strong, but it was enough to throw him against the wall. He hit his head hard on it and fell unconscious for a short time.

While he was lying there, a small stone fell from the building and hit his head. Srini woke up with a groan. His back was in pain and his head was spinning.

"Ahhh… what happened to me?" Srini whispered to himself.

When he looked around, he saw Manu.

Manu was trying to stand, but as soon as he got up, the horned sheep rushed at him.

Its horns struck his stomach, and Manu was thrown into the air. He fell on his knees, head bent, coughing blood.

"No… why is it attacking him?" Srini thought, anger rising inside him.

"I need to do something."

Srini felt something under him. At first, he thought it was part of the ground, but when he stood up and pulled it, he saw it was a long rod. It was five feet tall, made of stainless steel, shining and smooth. The end was cut in a sharp angle, almost like a blade.

Srini held it tightly. It felt strong and easy to grip.

The horned sheep, after hurting Manu, stepped back. It scratched its hoof on the ground, ready to charge again.

Manu, still on his knees, was too weak to move. He looked at the sheep in fear.

Looking at the sheep coming toward him, Manu closed his eyes in fear.

From behind, Ravi's voice came. "It's fine if he dies. I only need the other one alive. I will break his hands and make him beg for forgiveness. He will live as my watchdog."

"What… what did he ever do to you?" Raj asked in confusion.

The sheep rushed at with its full speed Manu. But instead of pain, Manu heard a loud scream.

"Why… why don't I feel anything?" Manu thought, surprised. The sound felt familiar.

He opened his eyes.

Srini was standing in front of him, holding the long rod. The rod had pierced the sheep's stomach. The beast was on the ground, crying in pain.

"This is for hitting me from behind," Srini said, twisting the rod. The sheep screamed louder.

"This is for hurting my friend," Srini shouted, pushing harder.

Again, the sheep screamed.

"And this is for… your ugly face!" Srini growled.

But this time, the sheep made no sound.

"What? Won't you scream now? Fine, just die!" Srini lifted the rod to strike again.

But then he noticed something strange. The sharp end of the rod had only a small drop of blood.

"What? The rod didn't pierce its body?" both Srini and Manu thought at the same time.

Srini, without thinking, swung the rod at the sheep's head.

"clang", sound was heard

The rod struck the horns. The shock was so strong that Srini's hands went numb. He lost his grip on the rod , and the rod fell from his hands.

Srini stepped back, staring at the rod in shock.
