Chapter 35 - Chapter 32: Daimon Vs Zypher

The Rise of The God of Death

Chapter 32: Daimon Vs Zypher

As Zypher charged forward and was close to killing Daren... a figure appeared, holding and stopping his attack with one hand… Daimon is back!

Zypher, confused, muttered to himself, "Another stupid guy trying to stop me… he didn't even reach the commander rank." He immediately used his Simple Release to pressure Daimon—but…

Daimon smirked, then said coldly, "A god, you say?"

In an instant, Daimon used *True Aura Release*—the ground cracked, the sky seemed heavier, and Zypher trembled.

Daimon stepped forward calmly, his red eyes glowing. "Zypher LongLire... An Overlord close to becoming a Monarch… working under Vand... am I correct?"

Zypher dropped to the ground in shock, whispering, "How did you—who are you…?"

Daimon replied with a cold grin. "A *true* god."

Zypher, filled with fear, lashed out with a punch—but Daimon caught his fist mid-air.

"You know I'm one rank *below* you, right?" Daimon said, before flipping Zypher across the arena and slamming him into the wall.

Zypher, almost admitting defeat, froze as a memory of his Monarch echoed in his head:

> "You're weak. I gave you an easy quest *20 years ago*, and you still haven't completed it... Don't return unless it's done."

Fueled by desperation, Zypher roared and charged again, landing a punch straight into Daimon's chest.

Daimon took a step back, pale, whispering to himself… "How did I suffer that much from a simple attack…"

His expression darkened—then changed. His bloodlust erupted.

With a twisted smile, Daimon muttered, "How lucky am I to meet you here..."

He straightened up, aura crackling, and said calmly, "Give me your all, kid."

Zypher, already shaken, went all-in. He activated his ultimate skill:

*"Lires Throne!"*—a Monarch-level strike, meant to crush anything in its path.

He charged at Daimon—but Daimon vanished.

A whisper came from behind: "I'm here, kid…"

Zypher turned, attacked—he missed. Daimon reappeared on his right: "Here."

Again—vanished. Four Daimons surrounded him now. "Here, kid."

Zypher slashed madly, missing each one. The four figures merged into one. Zypher shouted, "That's the real one!" and rushed with one final blow.

But Daimon vanished again. This time, the air cracked.

Above him, Daimon appeared.

With cold eyes, he said:

*"Dimensional Impact."*

And slammed him into the ground with one devastating attack.

The battle ended. Reinforcements rushed in to evacuate the area.

Only Daimon stood tall—on top of the broken, defeated Zypher.
