The Rise of the God of Death

Chapter 35: To a New World

The next day, Daimon woke up like usual. He attended a meeting with his key leaders, discussing how to organize their growing city and secure enough resources. They talked about the fertile fields in the west and the dense forest to the south. The meeting ended with solid suggestions and a clear plan.

Afterward, Daimon returned home—heading straight to see Lucy. She had already prepared dinner, somehow knowing he'd come. Over the meal, Daimon shared stories from his time in the East, while Lucy told him how things had been in his absence. Hours passed as they talked and laughed like old times.

Finally, Daimon stood up.

"Get ready for next week," he said.

He gave the same message to Nil and Daren. Neither of them questioned it—they trusted him.

*One week later…*

They all gathered at the location Daimon had mentioned. Confused and waiting for an explanation, the silence was broken when Daimon finally spoke:

*"Want to come with me to the Divine Sect?"*

Shock filled their faces. An invitation like that meant stepping into an unknown realm filled with gods, monsters, and unimaginable strength.

Nil and Daren instantly agreed, excitement burning in their eyes. But Lucy hesitated.

"Why should I come to a place filled with gods and powerhouses?" she asked.

Daimon looked at her calmly.

"There's a secret place for training. You three are the heart of this city… You must grow stronger."

Lucy slowly nodded. She hugged him tightly. Daimon smiled, patting her head.

*"Is little Lucy scared?"*

*"Don't worry. I'll protect you."*

With that, Daimon led them to a towering mountain. At the peak, he raised his hand—and four swords materialized from thin air, floating in front of each person.

*"Stand on them,"* he said.

The moment they stepped on, the swords took off—flying at incomprehensible speeds through the sky.

Ten minutes passed before they reached… the void. An empty, endless space—no land, no sea, just nothingness. Then, in the distance, a floating island.

They landed. Daimon told them to wait.

Five minutes later, he called them over.

They entered a massive chamber—the *Central Chamber*—and were instantly hit with a chilling sight: *20 bodies* on the ground. One of them was even an *Overlord*. And Daimon? He stood calmly, not a drop of sweat on him.

He had wiped them all out. Instantly. Burned everything to cover his tracks. Then turned to the central teleporter.

With one final step…

*They entered a new world.*

*The Divine Sect.*
