When George and Linda arrived, they found a dark room with a man and a woman lying on the bed.
Linda screamed and rushed forward to pull Tina away.
As Zach felt the woman in his arms being pulled back, his frown deepened, annoyance clear in his expression.
He reached out to grab Tina again, but someone stopped him, triggering his temper. He lashed out with a kick.
The kick wasn't gentle. Linda cried out in pain as it knocked her to the ground, her tailbone aching sharply.
George's face darkened. He fetched a bucket of water from the bathroom and poured it over the two on the bed.
The icy water jolted both of them, drugged as they were, into partial awareness.
Tina looked at herself nestled in Zach's arms, her face turning ghostly pale. She screamed, clutching at her half-bare body and backing away in shock.
Her eyes filled with terror as she pointed at Zach, crying, "You… why are you here? How did I end up like this?"
