Chapter 32 - Comparison! A Crushing Defeat

The screen in the conference room lit up, displaying the first design draft. It was anonymous, and no one present knew whose work it was.

Tiffany, the HR manager, sat among the attendees.

She glanced at Anna Ives with a raised brow, mouthing silently, "How's it going?"

Anna caught her look. While everyone's eyes were locked on the draft, she mouthed back confidently, "Guaranteed win."

Tiffany blinked, then grinned. Bold. She liked that. Turning back to the glowing screen, her excitement grew.

The design draft was exquisite, clearly the product of meticulous effort. Everyone already had a good idea of whose work it belonged to.

The department managers, all careful not to offend anyone, began tossing out their polished comments:

"This dress design is spot on, it perfectly captures Mrs. Luke's elegance."

"Yes, the tailored fit and intricate details leave nothing to criticize."

As praises filled the room, Ruby's face was painted with smug satisfaction.
