Chapter 35 - Chapter 35 Nash's Death

Elisande looked at Prince Farodis, "The ally you've chosen has no small ambition!"

Prince Farodis laughed, "If he had no ambition, why would I choose him as an ally? The Eternal Palace now is like a stagnant pool, completely under the control of Savis and others. At this time, an ambitious person rushing in will inevitably stir the stagnant water, bringing out new vitality."

"Heh—" Elisande sneered, "It's just that he shouldn't have set his sights on the eye of aman'thul."

"He also set his sights on the tide stone!" Prince Farodis said calmly, "He is a manufacturer of equipment, so it's normal for him to have ambitions for Titan artifacts. Haven't you seen how he's resorted to all means to get Aggramar's Shield?"

"It's laughable that the priestess still thought Gale wanted to show his charm; how foolish."

Prince Farodis shook his head, "It seems you don't understand love."

"Love?" Elisande scoffed, "That's nothing more than an excuse created for reproduction; you actually believe it!"

Prince Farodis spread his hands, "No wonder you've been single until now!"

"Hmph!"

Elisande snorted disdainfully, "Arcane is my best companion."

"You stay here and cultivate your ally! I hope one day he won't turn on you and kill you!"

With that, Elisande opened a portal and left.

Prince Farodis didn't take her words to heart. If he hadn't been certain of Gale's character, he wouldn't have chosen Gale as an ally. There were countless talented Mages, but he specifically valued two of Gale's characteristics.

Ambition and sharing.

With ambition, he could charge into the Eternal Palace and threaten the positions of Savis and others. And by understanding sharing, he wouldn't hog the spoils of war, which would allow him to return to Sin'dorei with Gale's help.

If it weren't for Azshara's command, how could he willingly stay in Nasalas? Wouldn't it be better to stay in Sin'dorei and study the Well of Eternity?

Although the tide stone was a Titan artifact, its benefits were far inferior to those brought by the Well of Eternity.

"Hiss—"

Nash roared continuously, spewing venom while trying to climb the mountain. But its body was too large; the small river was crushed into a large river, and the small mountain was directly collapsed, with sharp, broken stones cutting its panel. Although the wounds could heal instantly, it still made Nash feel agitated, just like the Mages' magic.

The Witch Doctors wanted to control Nash's emotions and make it change its attack direction. But after several attempts, none were successful.

Just as they were discussing what to do, Gale flashed into their midst. He held Aggramar's Shield in his left hand and the Sanction Blade in his right, with the eternal holy grail hanging at his waist, continuously pouring energy into Gale's body.

At this moment, Gale felt like a god descended.

With a wave of his arm, the Sanction Blade, carrying lightning, pierced into the Witch Doctor's neck. As it was pulled out, lightning surged forth, engulfing all the Witch Doctors.

Struck by lightning, the Witch Doctors could still survive thanks to their powerful regenerative abilities. But the paralyzing nature of the lightning rendered them immobile, leaving them to wait for Gale to kill them one by one.

Gale didn't give them much time; his rapid movement combined with flashes, and in less than five seconds, he left a pile of corpses.

He turned his gaze to the final enemy—Hydra Nash!

Nash sensed the death of the Witch Doctors and immediately turned its head. The Mages saw Nash stop attacking and immediately checked the situation, finding that Gale had obtained Aggramar's Shield, and instantly breathed a sigh of relief.

Turann High Mage immediately ordered, "Now focus on containment and let Gale kill this beast!"

The Mages' morale was boosted. They had sacrificed over a dozen lives to achieve the current results, so they naturally wanted to see Nash killed. Not only that, but they also wanted to contribute more to the killing of Nash.

Countless spells attacked, but Nash ignored them. It let the magic burn its panel, but it still charged at Gale!

Although the Witch Doctors were not very capable, they were still its followers.

Venom sprayed out as if it were free, and Gale flashed to dodge. If he couldn't dodge, he activated the energy of Aggramar's Shield and charged towards Nash, facing the venom. When Nash saw Aggramar's Shield, it suddenly remembered something unpleasant. It ferociously moved its two giant feet and stomped down on Gale.

Although he knew Aggramar's Shield could withstand such damage, Gale didn't want to experience being stomped. He flashed away, then flashed onto Nash's body again, plunging the Sanction Blade into Nash's body.

The Hydra's panel was not particularly tough, nor did it have hard scales. After all, it was a multi-headed creature, and shedding its skin would be very troublesome. That's why the Hydra possessed super regenerative abilities, precisely to replace the protection of scales.

For this very reason, Hydras were frequently injured. Regeneration could heal the Hydra's wounds, but it couldn't expel the dirty matter that had mixed into the wounds. This dirty matter would slowly integrate into the Hydra's body, flow into its blood, and then gather in the venom sacs, transforming into venom.

This was also why the larger the Hydra, the more potent its venom.

Gale pulled the Sanction Blade, creating a large gash in Nash.

Nash didn't care; it fell to the ground, trying to crush Gale with its body, but Gale had already flashed to a nearby mountain peak.

When Nash stood up again, it noticed something was wrong. The wound healed very slowly, as if something was inhibiting its regenerative ability. It remembered the Witch Doctors once mentioning that the Kaldorei had created a weapon that inhibited regeneration.

That golden sword!

Nash was a little scared; it wasn't afraid of being injured, but it was afraid that the wound wouldn't heal.

It wanted to escape, but Gale would not let it leave.

Gale flashed onto Nash's neck, and the Sanction Blade ruthlessly plunged in. He used Arcane Energy as a foothold, circling one of Nash's necks. Although the Sanction Blade was not as long as Nash's neck radius, it was enough to sever the arteries within the neck. With the wound unable to heal and severe blood loss, the head on that neck instantly lost too much blood and showed no signs of life.

"Hiss—"

Nash still wanted to struggle in its death throes, opening its huge mouth to swallow Gale.

Gale stared at the shield, letting it swallow him, then attacked from within, killing another of Nash's heads.

Nash twisted its body frantically, shaking Gale off, then tried to escape.

At this moment, the water in the small river surged, coiling around Nash's body like ropes, rendering it immobile.

Gale saluted Prince Farodis, who was manipulating the tide stone from a distance, then flashed over and successively cut off all of Nash's heads.

The great Hydra loa of the trolls thus perished.

The small river near Heda'shal was thenceforth known as Snake-Slaying Stream.
