Chapter 31 - Angel

Two agents stood on guard outside the front doors of the base, just standing guard, doing nothing but looking at the people entering and leaving, "So? You heard what happened to Lucan?" The second guard looked at the first, "Bro… Who hasn't?" The first officer chuckled, "Yeah, man. So, what do you think? You think he did it?" The second officer nodded, "Absolutely. He did that shit." They suddenly fessed up as a big guy walked through. "Sup, Angel." Angel was a tall guy, he was 6'4, 275lbs and walked with a bop in his step; his steps were heavy and dense.

Dark brown hair, almost black, long enough to reach his jaw. Speaking of his jaw, it was masculine and sharp. With some deep hazel eyes. His shoulders were broad, and his muscles were poking through his shirt, with veiny arms. People noticed him before he spoke, "Sup." He walked inside and was greeted by every agent he met. "Apex Angel… How's life, man?" Angel dapped him, "Been's cool, Terrell."

He was taller than Angel by less than an inch, and maybe 20 pounds lighter; he was darker with buzzed short hair and pure black eyes. He was less serious but a powerful adversary nonetheless: "So you're going to see… your 'boss', Selene?" Angel gave him a look, which was supposed to be a questioning look, as if to say Are you serious, man? "Anyway, so you're still going to see her with what that girl did?" Angel shook his head, "What she did was messed up, man. Like that's your man's got to defend him or at the very least not sell him out."

Terrell nodded, "Yeah, I would get it if she were getting hate for it, but she's the Director's daughter. You think he's jealous of him or something because what Cam Clark told me, it was like he had something against him before he apparently 'betrayed the world'."
