On the beach.
Wearing sunglasses and the classic beach attire, Morin was lying on a beach chair, holding an open coconut and occasionally sipping through a straw.
He was bored.
No matter how fun a place or a thing is, you will eventually get tired of it, and Morin was in that state now.
As for the beautiful women… they were all right. After seeing and experiencing so many of them, Morin was no longer particularly interested in anyone, unless they had a special identity, like Gisele, who had a great body and looks and was a character in the plot.
Of course, this was definitely not because of any physical issues on his part. With his current physical condition, he had absolutely nothing to worry about in that regard.
Morin looked back on his life before he transmigrated and felt a little nostalgic—
He was an ordinary, unassuming college student like Louis Koo, who had never experienced anything and was a blank slate, full of beautiful fantasies.
He used the little bit of money he earned from writing novels, some of which he gave to his family to pay off the mortgage, some of which he used for living expenses, and a large portion of which he used to support the original creators of the novels he read out of principle.
He had finally graduated and found a job and then got… well, let's not go there.
But you can only say that misfortune and good fortune go hand in hand… who knew that such a misfortune could bring such good fortune?
Maybe in the future, he could even find a way back. At that time, based on the settings in the novels he used to read, he would probably have some kind of time-traveling ability. So, he could go back to the second after he left, a seamless transition?
All in all, it was a good deal, a huge profit.
But for now… what should he do?
The bored Morin finally finished the coconut water and grabbed a spoon to scrape out the flesh.
Then, he heard a voice.
"You look bored."
"A little," Morin replied without turning his head, still scraping the coconut. "What are you doing here? Are the preparations done?"
Just by the sound of her voice, Morin knew who it was. After all, she was the only woman he was interested in in this world at the moment.
"More or less, I'm just missing one thing," Gisele said, walking up from behind Morin in a bikini. She spoke in a teasing tone. "After all, I'm not a multi-millionaire. To get the money, I have to work."
"That's true," Morin nodded and moved over. He was using a two-person beach chair. "What are you missing?"
"Reyes's palm print," Gisele said, lying down on the beach chair without a hint of politeness.
"Without that, even if we get the vault, it would take us too much time to open it. We wouldn't be able to open it in a short amount of time. Time is short. We have to open the vault and split the money before we can leave."
"Good idea. If you drag the whole vault away, Reyes would probably die of anger. The safest place would become the most dangerous place," Morin said with a smile. "But where can you get close to Reyes?"
"Reyes will be coming to the beach soon to talk business with some people. His 'businessmen' are a little worried about his recent behavior of gathering all his money and looking for Toretto's crew, which has made the whole city chaotic. So Reyes has to reassure them by inviting them to relax," Gisele said.
"This is probably our only chance to get his palm print."
"What are you planning to do?" Morin asked.
"I just need to…" Gisele's hand slowly ran down her thigh, long and smooth. It took a long time to reach her toes. "This."
"Hmm… just a touch for a hundred million dollars?" Morin looked at Gisele's long legs and couldn't help but slap them. "I'll do it for you… and of course, Reyes will have to pay for that hundred million dollars."
"I agree with that," Gisele didn't object. In fact, she was very interested in Morin, and compared to the old drug lord Reyes, Morin, a handsome, well-built, multi-millionaire businessman, was much more attractive!
"But," Gisele didn't try to stop Morin's hand. She asked with a hint of confusion, "What are you planning to do?"
"There are many ways, it depends on whether you want it to be fast or slow," Morin said, taking a large, open coconut from the side and handing it to Gisele. "Want some coconut water?"
"What's the fast way? And what's the slow way?" Gisele asked, taking the coconut and drinking some water.
"The fast way is to just go to him, talk business, have a drink, and get his palm print," Morin said.
"The slow way is to gather all the evidence of his crimes, take all his power, and completely destroy him in a dominant way. But, I don't really like doing things that are illegal, and in this way, you guys would have very little to do, which isn't good either."
"Since you've analyzed it so thoroughly, what can I say?" Gisele said with a slight smile. "I want the fast way."
"Too fast isn't good either," Morin said meaningfully. "We still need to do some preparation. It just so happens that I'm missing a secretary."
Have the secretary do the work when there's work, and when there's no work… ahem, of course, Morin wasn't that impatient. He had to handle the important things first.
"A secretary?" Gisele said. "Then I need to change my clothes."
"No, you don't need to for now. We're here to have fun on the beach, and the idea of talking business with him is a sudden thought," Morin said, looking at the scenery.
"This way, he won't have time to react, and we can achieve our goal faster… Besides, we're not talking to him right now."
"How are you so good at this?" Gisele asked, confused.
"When you do business enough, you'll learn that many big deals are usually made in small settings and through 'accidental' encounters," Morin said with a laugh.
"Everyone knows the game, it just depends on whether both parties are willing to play."
"I suddenly feel like driving is a better fit for me," Gisele said with a sigh. "All this back and forth is so tiring."
"Driving is also a good way to have fun. After all, I started out as an auto mechanic and I haven't lost my skills. Repairing, modifying, and driving cars are some of the few hobbies I have now,"
Morin also sighed, but in a tone that made Gisele a little annoyed. "Being rich really does take a lot of the fun out of life…"
