Chapter 9 - Willie Lou

How long has she been here? She definitely saw us unconscious a moment ago...

"We're fine." Phuture didn't hesitate, ignoring the alluring spiritual pressure behind Willie Lou's presence. "Are you doing fine?"

Willie Lou held a confused expression on her face, she said. "Mother just died...I'm hardly doing fine. But...there's something I need to tell you two!"

Terrance and Celie gave each other a quick glance, then glanced back towards their younger sister.

"I want to...leave...and go out on my own away from the wars!" Willie Lou declared that she wanted to escape, which wasn't shocking for a teenager who was just enslaved. "Can you help me go far away from here?"

Terrance shot Celie another glance, this time hurrying towards their younger sister afterwards. Terrance said. "Willie Lou, are you implying that you wanna seperate from us?"

Willie Lou nodded slowly, wearing a frowned expression. "Yes...things are too deep and chaotic at the moment...please help me go to Western America!"

Phuture didn't know how to react with the situation, another confusing moment was upon them after leaving The Realm.

Willie Lou wants to seperate from humanity because of it's chaotic ways...this couldn't just be a coincidental decision! Itaska had just given America the advice of isolation to master spiritual transcendence, and now Willie Lou was asking for help moving away!

"There's still a lot for us to fight for here..." Phuture stood still while Terrance brought their younger sister into his arms for a hug. Terrance was extremely affectionate and touchy feely, and Dark played the role effectively as possible. "We should free everyone we can instead of just running away after gaining our freedom!"

Terrance and Willie Lou shot her a glance, Willie Lou asked. "You won't help me, Celie?"

"I'm staying...I'm sorry sister." Phuture answered. "I'm staying to help win this war...I know could win without me but I'm willing to help free everyone we can! Maybe I could fasten things up..."

I have faint remembrance of this world, and racism was one of the main conflicts of Planet Earth. It wasn't just in America, there was racism throughout the entire planet with different ethnic cultures. Could The Realm have helped me regain some memory and prowess?

Phuture could detect the unusual amount of spiritual pressure flowing from Willie Lou. On top of that suspicion, she was making this sudden compelling choice to move western.

Phuture transmigrated just a day ago, and now was beginning to take the role as Celie. She battled in a naval victory, helped free Willie Lou and Chicago, and then activated The Realm afterwards. All of this had been accomplished without any rest and her lack of sleep was beginning to catch up.

The fact that she couldn't remember much of her memories, the peculiar transmigration after Celie's death, the sudden summoning of two spiritual energy users, and now Willie Lou was a main suspect of being one of them.

Discovering that The Realm was probably helping her regain energy and memory, and suspecting Willie Lou to be America were both good signs.

That felt like a win, since missing pieces and lack of understanding towards ominous things is always jarring.

The strongest form of emotion in all beings is fear, being informed will always prevent from fearing of unknown.

"I'll help you." Terrance said. "But I won't be able to stay with you the entire journey younger sister."

Willie Lou grinned. "Thank you! I could really use your assistance...it's just...I don't know if I can do it myself."

"It's fine...pack everything you can and we'll head off soon as your ready."

Willie Lou waved goodbye to Celie and Terrance before rushing away from the school, then Terrance and Celie gave each other a stare of many words.

Soon as the front door closed, Phuture called out. "She's definitely America!"

"Agreed." Terrance approached her, rubbing his beard while processing thoughts in his mind. "This is a good thing, we've discovered one of the spiritual energy users this quickly. Willie Lou makes sense...she's an educated and capable soldier like her siblings."

"Really? I didn't read about that yet..."

"But...America was the only one honest with us."

Phuture's eyebrows raised, she didn't expect Itaska of being truthful but she didn't detect any liar tendencies. "I don't think he lied..."

"Those two stars were nearby...America was the closer in the skies of The Realm, but Itaska's star wasn't too much further away." Terrance sighed and lowered his hand. "You're right! Itaska didn't lie...maybe he's too afraid of us to lie! He's a traveler from Itaska as he said, but he's currently here in America."

There was a bizarre urge in her to activate The Realm, she was regaining small memories slowly, but there an urgency to learn more within the unknown realm. There was also a place in the back of her mind that contradicted that urgency, a thought to just pretend nothing mattered.

At the moment, her mind was clouded by transmigration, seperate realms, and civil war conflict.

"You need more food!" Terrance suddenly called out. "You have to eat and rest immediately, it's written all over your eyes. Good thing I carry bread in my bag, right?"

Terrance reached in his bag to feed Celie, unwrapping a loaf of bread before handing it over.

Celie didn't hesitate to dig in, eating vigorously like she had done before with the broth.

"Wait..." Terrance touched slowly rubbed his hand on the school desk. "Where is the bible?"

Holy Divine! The bible! It's no longer there! Did Willie Lou take the bible while we were unconcious?

"Let's go retrieve the bible, Willie Lou must have it. I know for a fact there's much more important information inside that bible!" Terrance dashed to the front door, urgently heading outside to locate Willie Lou. "Celie! Come on!"

Willie Lou's spiritual essence was exceptional and easy to trace, but the distance of her spiritual pressure was rapidly moving further away.

Even sprinting towards Willie Lou was meaningless, her distance continued spreading away at the same ratio.

Terrance and Celie stopped sprinting, panting heavily in acceptance that Wille Lou had taken Celie's bible and escaped.

"We...just...gonna let her get away?" Phuture spoke through her panting, she said. "She must've stolen a horse too!"

"I was thinking the same thing..." Terrance placed both hands on top of his head and took deep breaths to stabilize breathing. "Something deep is going on...we'll catch up with her to find out what."

"Why don't we just use The Realm again?" Phuture asked. "We can do it without the bible...I'm regaining my spiritual prowess!"

"Yes...I see that." Terrance used his spirit eyes to examine Phuture's spiritual prowess, detecting that her spiritual energy has doubled from before The Realm. He understood why she wanted to go back, but was unsure of any unknown dangers from The Realm. "We'll hold back on activating that domain, just for a few days alright? Just as an precautionary measure."

"Fine." Phuture frowned, disconcerted with waiting to use The Realm.

"Lighten up! I'll teach you a technique original to only your soul. She's strong...so Willie Lou will require spiritual prowess...therefore I'll teach you how to use your True Domain again!"
