For an instant, Phuture thought she had been transmigrated back to her true vessel. However, the gazing sun above her and South Carolina setting brought her back to reality.
What the divine just happened to me? I didn't die again, did I?
"Hey." Willie Lou's voice called out, catching attention as her vision began to focus. "So you ain't dead after all...your injuries are healing...bones just snapped back in place."
"Yes...it's apart of my spirtual prowess. I contain an energy that we call Divine Life Energy." Phuture nodded and smiled. "You pulled me out from the house?"
"Yes." Willie Lou answered. "Soon as we got back."
"Back?"
"The Confederate Demon came...he's the one that knocked the house down on you."
Phuture's eyes went from Willie Lou to Chicago, but there was no trace of Dark's divine energy or a visual of Terrance. "Where is Terrance?"
"We...don't know." Willie Lou answered. "Terrance sent us away when The Confederate Demon arrived...there's no trace of them."
"He's fighting that monster alone?" Phuture questioned, her eyes widening in state of shock. "He's not at full power!"
Dark stated that he's barely above ten percent of his power! Can that be enough to defeat the demon? I'm sure he would resort to one of his domains...that must be where they are!
"If Terrance sent you to safety...you should go back." Phuture said. "I think I have an idea of where they are...and I don't want to waste this opportunity of killing that demon if Terrance fails..."
"He's alone." Willie Lou frowned, she stated. "He's likely dead...I'm sure you're aware of that. We should leave...you know this place will be crowded The Confederacy soon. Especially since their demon leader is missing."
"You go." Phuture's facial expression displayed the anger she kept inside, she said. "I'll stay, I need to save Terrance."
Phuture returned the bag containing all five bibles, gently placing the bag in Willie Lou's hands. If her husband's soul was lost due to battling The Confederate Demon, her drive and purpose changes completely from grief.
"You can use the bibles as an object of spirituality..." Phuture stared Willie Lou in the eyes. "Learn how to use them as your spiritual object and you'll be able to absorb that piece of shit's soul. He utilizes teleportation to attack…if you could counter that…and absorb his soul…he's defeated."
Phuture took a deep breath and hugged Willie Lou before she could reply, completely catching her off guard with the sudden affection.
Suddenly, Phuture's spiritual essence began to ache her entire body. She dealt with an excruciating chest pain where the core of her soul rested, but it only lasted for just a few seconds until fading away completely.
Dark's voice played in her head, speaking to her telepathically. "You're alive!"
Phuture nearly cried at the sound of his voice, fighting tears to look stronger in front of Willie Lou and Chicago.
She replied to the voice in her mind. "Where are you?"
"Protective Domain: Realm of Dark Shadows…but I'm running on low. How's your spiritual essence holding up?"
"Don't change the subject! Are you going to die?"
"Well…most likely. However, if your spiritual essence is strong enough…"
"I could use my Divine Life Energy, I know. Bring your ass back!"
"He's too powerful…please…just be smart. But I'll be back in a few seconds, finishing things up here right about now."
Inside The Dark Realm of Shadows, Dark stood still while focusing on his telepathic conversation with his wife, but still prepared for the incoming blitzing attack from the demon.
The red demonic aura clashed with Dark's black and orange aura one last time, ending a battle of two powerhouse spiritual energy users.
The Confederate Demon's laughter continued after the collision, and blood scattered across the realm upon impact.
The Realm of Dark Shadows deactivated.
Terrance's bloodied body fallen to the ground after being defeated by The Confederate Demon.
The Confederate Demon stepped over his dying body, making his way towards the imploded house to recover the bibles. The recovery of the bibles meant there would be little to no chance of The Demon Corps defeating him.
For some baffling reason, The Confederate Demon couldn't locate any of bibles under the fallen house. There was no trace of any other spiritual presences, except the faint feeling of Terrance's dying essence.
"Goddamn it!" The Confederate demon cursed in frustration. "I was certain…they were under this wreckage!"
A flash of yellow lightning struck down on the demon, but the demon bounced backwards to avoid direct contact.
He still would take some damage but shook off the burns of electricity, eyes widening to see the lightning bolt changing direction in pursuit.
The demon laughed out. "More fun? This is the best morning ever! Demon Arts: Soundwave!"
The demon clapped his hands to activate his soundwave towards the incoming electricity, but Chicago's aura would spark an electromagnetic pulse.
That pulse would negate the incoming soundwave attack, continuing his straightforward pursuit on The Confederate Demon at lightning speed.
"Hmph." The Confederate Demon scoffed. "Fascinating!"
The demon leaped forward to clash with the lightning, punching through the bolt and penetrating through Chicago's chest with his right fist.
Chicago coughed up blood and his eyes lowered, his limp body dropped to the ground and began losing it's aura.
"All of you monkeys…you weren't smart enough to scurry away!" The Confederate Demon shouted while glaring down at an injured Chicago, but noticed another appearance and revived energy presence. "What? I just defeated-"
The Confederate Demon began to turn around, but he was fatally struck by two separate blades before he could face the presences.
The Confederate Demon battled against Terrance and easily won, but was challenged at The Dark Realm of Shadows. In The Dark Realm of Shadows, the demon battled against the true form of a weakened Divine God.
He defeated that Divine God and Terrance's spiritual pressure was almost completely depleted.
"The lightning boy…" The Demon was no longer able to move his body, realizing there was a blade in his spine and one in his heart. "The lightning boy was just a distraction for one measly second."
Phuture twisted the energy blade she punctured in The Confederate Demon's chest. "One second was all I needed."
The Demon spat deep red blood from his mouth and choked up from a punctured heart. "Killed…by a blistering animal…a black woman at that…so there was two Divine Gods."
"I guess we're not dumb as you people assumed!"
Phuture yelled out while jerking the blade upward, slicing open the demon's chest and puncturing his inner spiritual core.
The Confederate Demon's spiritual essence faded, and his body flailed to the dirt ground next to Chicago.
Phuture released her energy blade from the right hand, and urgently rushed to Chicago. His essence was gone and he was killed, The Confederate Demon punched clean through his heart to kill him on impact.
"Don't tell Willie Lou…I have no other choice…"Phuture spoke out to Terrance. "I gotta use Divine Life Energy to bring him back to life!"
