Chapter 20 - Tension Rising!

"Determination." Valeur chuckled, he met eyes with The Divine Goddess. "So...you're still the leader, huh?"

The Divine Goddess, Divine Lord, and Divine Demon were still grouped together in The Realm after receiving family news from Valeur.

Phuture and Dark were shoulder to shoulder, staring down their biggest foe of all time after receiving information that one of the kids was looking for them.

According to Valeur, who was historically proven to be an honest man, one of their children was able to escspe from Valeur's games.

Phuture's logical conclusion was that one of her oldest escaped to discover their whereabouts, but she was unsure if anyone would be able to locate her without help.

The Realm was a seperate world for meetings, negotiations, and conversation. Unlike True Domain amd Protective Domain, The Realm was not specialized for direct combat. Therefore, even if they wanted to fight against their enemy, it would take an effort of swapping realms to engage in battle.

Valeur chuckled softly to himself, he said. "I'll say this...there's much stronger demons than the one called Confederate Demon. If you don't obtain an essence much higher than where you are now...you'll never be able to see any of your children ever again. Good luck, Gods of Divinity."

Valeur vanished into the darkness, leaving The Realm after waving Phuture and Dark goodbye. His appearance increased her heart rate, raising tension higher than normal upon his arrival.

Dark released a deep breath, signaling the tension was just unbearably consuming for him.

Valeur's appearance confirmed their speculation that he was responsible for the transmigration, but it also seemed that he was responsible for the powerful demons based on his timing.

"We need you back at full power...immediately." Dark said while attempting to control his breathing, he continued. "Valeur was well prepared for this...he only made an appearance because you aren't at full power."

"Agreed...and soon as Itaska asked about the sudden appearance of all these powerful monsters." Phuture wore an expression of worry on her face. "But we don't know what kinda game he's playing..."

"I'm not worried about Valeur's games, it's irrelevant compared to the amount of issues we're dealing with. I've been wondering who's in charge of The Confederate Demon...but that's another question for us answer later. I believe the one who got away was Peace...but we're unable to time travel...I tried my best."

Peace, the name of their first born child, and smartest being of the entire family. He had a small portion of history with time traveling, a long story that involved him going to ancient spirit times.

For the most part all of The Divine Gods had history with time traveling, but Time Patrol attempted their best to prevent the consistency of time traveling.

How can I help him? There's gotta be a way...Peace is a smart man but traveling through numerous worlds and timelines to find us just seems unlikely. I need to think of something quickly before Valeur reaches him...then he'd be sentenced to death.

"We have our contracted spiritual ties..." Phuture thought aloud, thinking of a spirit technique she shared with her children. "If we are in the same timeline...either one of us can summon each other...that's the only thing I can think of at the moment..."

Dark nodded, he replied. "Very well...that's better than nothing...we'll just need to keep our senses up for whenever he arrives. All of our children are like us...they'll be determined to go through every year of any world until they find us. It's just that could take some time...this shit is infuriating me."

"We'll handle it."

The duo ended their meeting in The Realm, both of them mentally exhausted despite the meeting only being brief.

Terrance and Willie Lou were still together at the site of battle, but Chicago and Celie were in Dark's True Domain inside of healing orbs.

Willie Lou approached an awakened Terrance with her arms folded, quickly noticing that he was distraught by whatever happened.

"That demon..." Willie Lou said. "That's the guy you guys been talkin' bout...the one you were at war against. Right?"

Terrance glared down into the dirt by his feet, he hesitated to answer while trapped inside his thoughts. There was so many questions roaming through his brain that he was impatiently attempting to answer.

Which child escaped Valeur to save them? Peace, but only because he's the smartest one amongst them. But he wasn't the only option for who could've escaped, since newest baby girl was the strongest of their group and the middle twins were the most intangible.

Any of his children could've escaped Valeur's games, but it seemed that he wouldn't find out until their arrival. In worse circumstances, until he escaped from his transmigration to make it home.

"Hey!" Willie Lou called out, bringing him back to the real world. "You hear me?"

Terrance tilted his head upward to face her, remaining seated against a fallen tree where Willie Lou placed him when she awakened from The Realm.

Willie Lou asked. "What the hell happened to you?"

"Nothing happened to me." Terrance answered before beginning to stand tall, he said. "I apologize for ending the meeting so suddenly...I was trying to get a clue on Itaska's identity."

"Obviously something more important came up so I don't care...but you didn't answer my question."

"I did, I just said nothing happened to me."

"No, I asked was that the demon you were at war with. It was him...right?"

"Indeed."

"I didn't know beings could walk into other's personal domains...that wasn't in any of the books I read."

"It's a rare special technique...I can only think of five people in history capable of such feats."

"I'm guessing he can also hide his spiritual essence...I didn't detect a thing when he creeped up on us until he revealed himself. There's no telling how long he was actually there."

"He informed me of something extemporaneous..." Terrance paused, but he made the choice of asking Willie Lou for help. "One of my children are currently traveling through seperate dimensional timelines to find us. He didn't tell us which of our children...and I'm unable to travel through time to meet them. Valeur is going after them and I won't be able to do anything!"

Willie Lou's face frowned up at the news, she asked. "Can I help...I can become strong enough to find your kid. I'll help you with your objective as repayment of helping me with mines."

"I...I don't wanna put your life at risk, Valeur is the strongest spiritual being in history Willie Lou!"

"I don't give a damn!" Willie Lou shut down Terrance's denial, she shouted. "I'll use my spiritual object to boost my prowess and help find your kid!"
