"Welcome to The Demon Corps." Terrance offered his hand for the Union soldier named Elmer to shake. "We could use more soldiers, please accompany us."
Elmer could remember the African Americans of his company being slaughtered, most of their throats ripped out and heads decapitated. The majority of his allies were killed, but the vampires made another decision rather than killing him.
"They turned me..." Elmer struggled with his reality, memories flashing in the brain repeatedly conflicting his thought process. "I'm..."
"A vamp." Terrance finished his sentence for him, already aware of the situation that Elmer was dealing with. "We'll still take you in, but of course its your decision."
Willie Lou approached the man and attempted to ease his anxiety, just as Terrance had done for her seconds before his awakening. She wrapped both arms around him and gently pulled him into her chest for a hug.
Terrance watched aside in awe of her boldness, hugging a vampire and basically pulling the man close to her throat.
Elmer starved with the overwhelming wanting of blood, but he resisted his first quenching for the sensation and refused to feed from Willie Lou.
Willie Lou said. "Let's go find who did this to you."
Elmer nodded, captivating by her beauty and assertiveness. She was just a natural born leader taking command when needed, and she seeked to destroy the vampires who we're specifically targeting black soldiers.
Racist demons, racist vampires, she thought about what could be next for The Demon Corps.
"Wake up Chicago and Phuture." She released from the hug and looked the handsome man in the eyes. "We're going vampire hunting this morning before the sun rises."
Terrance shoved Chicago and Phuture to wake them as ordered, introducing them to their newest member Elmer the Vampire.
Elmer politely greeted them both with hospitality and thanked them for taking him in. He expressed there wasn't much left for him after his company was killed. He wasn't sure about other survivors or men that were turned into vampires like him.
"We'll find out." Willie Lou said. "Terrance, I still believe they fled because of your spiritual pressure. So you won't be continuing the search with us...the rest of us will split up and search for other spiritual presences! You guy can join soon as we find them of course. We don't have much time...maybe about ninety minutes or so. So let's move fast everyone! Go!"
Terrance teleported himself to another state to be far as possible, sitting on a nearby log while waiting for the rest of his team.
The Demon Corps scattered in four seperate locations of time, covering more ground than before by splitting apart. Elmer searched north, Willie Lou made her way south, Chicago pushed through the western part of town, and Phuture went the opposite direction east.
Elmer was the first to sense one of his dying allies, smelling their blood signaled they were still alive and human. But they weren't alone, he could also feel a couple vampires accompanished his friend.
Elmer speed blitzed through the town towards the sense of blood, impressed by an exponential difference in his speed from before. He figured now that he was a vampire there would be nunerous changes to his body, including an increase in strength, speed, and durability.
He reached the farm just outside the city in seconds, arriving to a grotesque scenery where many men where bloodied and deceased.
A couple vampires appeared within seconds after he arrived, both of them wearing black trousers and white tee shirts.
They chuckled together hysterically at the sight of Elmer, one of them said. "Dude, how the hell did you survive? We left you for dead...should've just killed the ni-"
Elmer's face lit up at the sight of the vampire's head being sliced off, killed just before he could finish speaking a racial slur.
"I think you've spoken enough words!" Willie Lou shouted after killing the vampire, she said. "Good work Elmer!"
The other vampire ran off towards the farm, taking off just before the rest of their unit arrived.
Terrance looked around at the bloodbath in disgust, utilizing the next few seconds to clean up the mess left behind by vampires.
All the deceased bodies of Union soldiers were gathered for proper burial in the future, a job done in five seconds by Terrance's incredible speed.
Willie Lou walked ahead of her team towards the farm, leading the pack while stretching her arms. "In the state of Virginia, there's over half a million enslaved human beings. This state holds the biggest population of slaves in The Land of The Free. Let's put our foot on history's neck and liberate our people!"
The Demon Corps rushed ahead where they detected multiple presences of vampires, discovering a plantation of African Americans being used as vampire food.
Slaves were being abducted in a hurry, seemingly to escape from The Demon Corps. The last vampires slacking behind were quickly killed by Terrance, leaving behind hundreds of their slaves to be set free by The Demon Corps.
"Are we sure we should let them go free?" Chicago questioned. "They'll just do this somewhere else!"
Terrance smirked and chuckled a bit, leaving everyone to wonder what was so humorous for him to be in laughter. "It seems our newest allies have arrived…so the vamps are good as dead."
Terrance brought the team along to catch up with the vampires, transporting everyone to the location he felt an appearance of three powerful spiritual beings.
One of the men was of Native American descent, the other two were African American men, but all three had light brown skin and all black uniforms with black boots.
The Native American man offered his hand to Terrance, he introduced himself. "I'm Hayze, leader of The Itaska. You have a familiar spiritual aura…so I believe I know who you are."
"I'm just Terrance." Terrance and Hayze shook hands after introducing themselves, and Hayze caught the signal to keep his identity private. "Willie Lou is in charge of The Demon Corps, but I'll be the muscle whenever necessary."
Willie Lou introduced herself to The Itaska members, asking for names of the other two men with Hayze.
Hayze introduced his other two soldiers as Keanu and Gantaka, stating they're two of his best and his sister was in charge of their group in The Midwest.
"The plan is to free Virginia…with our strengths we can overpower them and free all five hundred thousand slaves in this state!" Willie Lou called out. "Itaska members, I want you to bring down the tobacco growing regions. My daddy told me there's more enslaved blacks amongst their population than whites, I'm sure you'll be able to free a large sum of the state's slaves there. If you run into any trouble we'll be there for you, Terrance can detect anything if you're still around. Celie, Chicago, and Terrance I want you guys to continue towards the city of Richmond. Elmer and I will scope out the rest of the state!"
Phuture was excited to finally be grouped with her husband, and she was thrilled to see an alliance bring growth to The Demon Corps. She knew their actions would be game changing to history, potentially assisting with ending The American Civil War years earlier.
