The Shrine, a spiritual group founded by an entity named Holy. The group was originally formed as a safe haven for diversity, mostly women and humans of different skin color were amongst their members. They are known for always being able to fight together, even if all the members are dead or incarcerated.
Being a member of The Shrine can offer an individual incredible spiritual prowess, one of the most powerful spirits of all time led The Shrine for a period of years.
A spiritual entity named Wangari was one of the most powerful spiritual beings of all time, maintaining the power to defend The Shrine from inevitable threats without containing any divine energy.
The power of shrine energy was one of the most reliable forms of spiritual prowess, and Phuture was able to bare witness to that fact with her own eyes.
"As a woman with exceptional spiritual prowess...I'm sure you have." Harriet said, standing side by side with Phuture while concentrating to locate The Hoodied Demon's true soul. "The Shrine is a spiritual group, where the leader offers their blood, mind, and body to become a spiritual entity. This vessel that you see me now...is just an illusion of my spiritual prowess. I have a technique of shapeshifting...that's why I'll so great at spying on the other side because I can become one of the men on the other side."
An impressed Phuture replied. "Holy Divine that sounds...like Wangari...are you..."
"So you've heard of me?"
"You are the most powerful being of your time! Of course I know the strongest leader of The Shrine history!"
"No." Harriet declined. "Our last leader is the most powerful...but I don't mind being the strongest until then."
Harriet's energy became silver and white, flowing differently from before while she concentrated on activating her powers.
The battle was beginning to become an intense affair, and The Hoodied Demon made another appearance ahead of them.
Harriet and Phuture assume it was another blood clone, but it wouldn't matter if the True Domain was destroyed. He wouldn't be able to continually create blood clones back to back in the human world, therefore destroying his domain was the main objective.
This was the second time the demon used his True Domain in less than a month, so he planned to use it more effectively this time to kill his targets.
"This time...I'll use my full power..." The Hoodied Demon removed his hood, revealing himself to be an African American man with pale colored skin. "This time...I'll kill all of you monkeys."
The Hoodied Demon soared with red and black spiritual prowess, pushing himself even further in efforts of quickly going for the kill.
"Ahuh." Harriet said while walking towards the demon. "Stay back unless needed Phu, this one is for me to handle."
Phuture stepped back appalled by the appearance of their opponent, suddenly realizing something while staring into his cold eyes. He was likely a child of the master and slave, one of the mixed racial slaves that were sometimes considered special.
He's still an African American...therefore he's one of us and we could possibly liberate him. I'm sure Harriet was just shocked as me, although the slaves were forced to fight alongside their masters. It was the way The Hoodied Demon talks down upon us, is it because we're women?" Should I convince him to stand down and join us to defeat our surpression?
"Shrine Spirit Technique." Harriet's voice rejected her idea, the full powered spiritual pressure emphasizing an intense battle that there was no going back from. "Wangari."
Wangari, The legend of The Shrine, said to be the most powerful spiritual entity of her time. She fought against the inequality of women in the ancient times, empowering the women of The Shrine to defeating their demon enemy. She fought in demon wars during a time when the world was profoundly led by them, leading to a different world of less supernatural demonic presence after winning.
Wangari, the spirit, wore ancient clothing made of bronze that matched the color of her skin. She wore a diamond chain necklace and bracelet on both wrist made of the same diamonds.
"Harriet!" Wangari shouted and lunged herself towards Harriet for a hug, she seemed overly excited to be summoned. "I didn't think you'd ever summon me, it's so nice to see you!"
Harriet nodded forward towards the demon, who suddenly disappeared with teleportation before Wangari turned his direction.
The Hoodied Demon pushed forward to attack, but was countered effortlessly by Wangari's fist. She punched him with her eyes still on Harriet, sending the demon flopping back where he came from.
"You're rude, that's not manly of you to rush in while we're still talking. Have you ever seen an anime?" Wangari gave The Hoodied Demon a scrunch faced expression, until her expression changed into awe at the realization of an undeniable presence behind her. "Phuture."
She remembers me! This is the very first time someone I have history with in the future can actually remember me! I'm still confused...can I just be myself?"
Wangari turned around to face Phuture, confused by the unexpected change of appearance. "Who's that lady?"
Harriet chuckled a bit, then shot Phuture a glance with Wangari for an answer.
"Celie Ward." Phuture answered. "Valeur transmigrated me into her body...after she was killed by demons of The Confederacy. Like that guy over there."
A shiver went down Wangari's spine at the name Valeur, she said. "If Valeur is behind this...then this is something The Shrine will definitely be involved in. Phuture baby, we need to get you back in your true vessel immediately and let Ms. Celie Ward rest in peace."
"I know! I'm trying my best so much crap just keeps coming up...I'm so happy you can remember me!"
"You know I'm timeless." Wangari smiled. "Long as my spirit continues, I know all times of my spiritual lifespan. Your baby girl is gonna be a leader of The Shrine like me one day."
Phuture held in screams of excitement from the news, until Wangari screamed out for her and they celebrated together.
I need to get home to my baby girl immediately, she was just born and we barely got to spend any time together. If she's gonna blossom to be a leader of The Shrine...I would kill to be back home by her side to watch that growth.
"Losing to three monkeys is unacceptable...I won't stand for it! I don't care if I have to go all out!" The Hoodied Demon placed both his hands together, choosing the route of his full power transformation after being effortlessly punched in the face by Wangari. "Spiritual Apotheosis Perfection!"
His spiritual energy aura formed itself into his physique, causing his skin to become red and black from the spiritual transformation.
Wangari, Harriet, and Phuture watched in awe as The Hoodied Demon peaked at his full power transformation.
The Hoodied Demon laughed out after his transformation completed, staring into his red hands while his heartbeat pumped the blood of demonic prowess. "Which one of you monkeys ready to die first?"
