"He's strong as hell." Wangari said. "If only you were still in your prime...Harriet."
"Don't count me out yet, I'm not some ole lady." Harriet replied while stepping forward, strategizing her next move beforehand like chest. "We'll kill him."
Phuture's heart began beating rapidly, the overwhelming power of The Hoodied Demon's true form made her more nervous.
There was a moment where she nearly forgotten the power she contained inside, another reminder of Harriet's words about being more confident.
Wangari and Harriet were extremely confident, an ego of determination that they were more than enough even at the face of demonically powerful spiritual energy.
"Don't interfere unless I'm on the brink of death." Harriet commanded assertively. "And next time...show me how much power your ego can stir from you. Ready, Wangari?"
Wangari nodded and sprinted forward at full speed, but the demon matched her lightning speed to counter her attack.
Harriet rushed forward to join the brawl, but her speed didn't accelerate nearly fast as Wangari and the demon.
Phuture stayed out of the battle as ordered, watching the back and forth collision between Wangari and the demon. Their aura sparking and dashing like a ray beam of light across the True Domain, the two of them relentlessly exchanging blows back and forth.
Harriet took deep breaths while running towards them, awaiting for the perfect opportunity to predict the demon's movements. Her battle intelligence proved to be exceptional once again when she teleported herself between their battle with precise timing.
The demon screamed out after being stabbed by Harriet, stabbed directly in the core of his soul while focusing on the task at hand against Wangari.
Wangari's fist punched through the demon's throat, caving a hole through his throat and nearly decapitated him before he could counterattack but the demon's strength overwhelmed them.
First, The Hoodied Demon punched through Harriet's chest to send her descending towards the ground. Then the demon grabbed Wangari by the arm, laughing hysterically despite her arm being through his neck.
Wangari suddenly disappeared from the demon's grasp, swapped places by Phuture and punched in his stab wound. The blow into his injured spiritual core turned his screams into a guttural scream, he could hear the sound of her cracking her knuckles before she threw another punch.
This time the punch came down on his head, launching him towards the ground from force of Phuture's full strength.
Instead of connecting with the ground, Phuture saved him from the impact by catching him just before collsion.
Spiritual Apotheosis Perfection, His full power, was still no match against The Divine Goddess.
The Hoodied Demon's eyes widened to notice something different about Phuture, her eyes were dilated and mostly a purple color and her aura shifted into the same color.
It was almost like she was an entirely differently woman than before, he didn't understand what could've just happened to make her so much more of a threat.
He attempted to use teleportation for seperation, but she followed along with teleportation as well. She stayed on him like an eagle on its prey, leaving him with no choice but to battle for his life or die.
The Hoodied Demon yelled out while leveling up his power, veins popping up under his red demonic skin. He created an energy blade with both hands, wielding two blades with thoughts of victory in mind.
The Hoodied Demon couldn't stand the thought to losing against a woman, especially not a woman who seemed afraid just moments ago!
Phuture shifted her body in rotation to dodge an anticipated attack from the demon, counterattacking by slicing off his arm without hesitation.
He jumped away into the air while healing his wound ardently, expressing his unsurety in victory and spoke out. "Okay! You win! I can't defeat you!"
Phuture's face stained of antipathy while floating towards him, the sight of Harriet's blood spilling as she came following toward the ground replayed in her mind.
Just a moment ago, she wanted to have a role in sparing the young man's life and guiding him to liberation. The mood was no longer the same and she was fumed with rage, ignoring his pleads to space his life.
Phuture attacked swiftly with a vicious three piece combo, punching through his chest and throat before slicing off his legs.
The Hoodied Demon fell on his backside, staring at her purple dilated eyes and frantically trying to escape with his life. He healed his wounds one by one, but was interrupted by blade that pinned his head against the ground.
Phuture yanked him upwards by the throat while staring into his eyes, creating a sphere of her turquoise spiritual energy within her other hand.
Harriet and Wangari teleported between their battle to break up the one sided fight.
Wangari stabbed the demon in his core again before shoving him away from Phuture, assuring to cripple him in his full power since they needed to focus on an ally.
Harriet grabbed Phuture's hand bearing an energy sphere and calmly said. "Destroy the domain with this."
Phuture's eyes returned to normal, forming back to Celie's brown hazel eyes. She looked down at hand to observe the purple energy sphere, thoughts of her darkest days flustered throughout her mins at the sight.
This certainly means that I just blacked out…the last thing I remember is seeing Harriet get punched. What did I do? Is The Hoodied Demon dying? Harriet and Wangari were highly confident and ended up losing…so how did he end up on the ground like that?
"That's more like the Phuture I know…but you were hesitant on killing him and that means something. You've wanted to spare this guy's life from the jump, haven't you?" Wangari asked with curiosity, she continued. "That explains the only reason you didn't chop off his head while blacked out."
"Yeah, that's right…I wanted to spare him from the moment I saw his ethnicity." Phuture replied. "Let's just bring The Hoodied Demon with us…we don't have to kill him."
Harriet struggled with that decision making, having a zero tolerance for the enemy amd killing them when necessary. But this wasn't her decision to make since Phuture was the one who defeated him and won the battle.
"Thank you for your assistance, Wangari." Harriet acknowledged Wangari, the spirit of The Shrine. "I'm not in my prime anymore so I would've been killed without you…and without Phuture."
Wangari approached The Divine Goddess for a hug before leaving, thanking her for assisting with keeping Harriet alive. She congratulated her for defeating The Hoodied Demon, hoping it would help with boosting her confidence.
"Remember…always embrace your ego!"
