Chapter 19 - Family News!

Before being transmigrated into Celie and Terrance, the Divine duo were in the middle of a full scale war against an immortal demon from an entirely different world.

Valeur.

A demon from The Third Demon Realm, born thousands of years before an American Civil War took place.

He had several unique abilities that only a small percentage of spiritual energy users could achieve, and one of them was his ability to breach anyone's personal realm. In most cases, he would go undetected if he truly wanted to.

This time he decided to show himself and make an appearance for his old friends Phuture and Dark.

"Dark." Valeur's rugged tone voice replied, he said. "I see that you're finally back to full power...but you've sacrificed your wife's spiritual prowess in exchang."

Dark abruptly ended the meeting without having a true opportunity to answer Itaska's question, and without having the opportunity of finding his true identity or location.

Itaska and America were both transported back to their vessels, dismissed from the spirit world of The Realm.

Dark and Phuture stood up from their seats together, anticipating a death battle against the almighty Valeur.

"You're the reason for our transmigration, am I right?" Dark questioned, creating an energy blade in both hands. "And you're bold enough to show your face despite knowing I have my powers back!"

"Don't get riled up." Valeur said. "The Realm isn't meant for fighting, you should know that as one of it's creators."

"I don't give a damn what it's for!"

Valeur chuckled. "Losing your cool...very nonsensical. Aren't you a Divine God?"

Dark's aura began to surge at the full extent of his power, delivering a burst of wind that destroyed the wood table as he walked passed it.

Phuture's spiritual prowess was back down to about five percent, so battling against Valeur was currently out the question for her. She couldn't just sit back and watch her husband take on The Divine Demon, a demon they struggled to kill together back at their home world before transmigration.

Valeur expressed no concerns, he rubbed his forehead. "Lemme guess, you're gonna magically muster up the power to kill me after failing for all this time? In case you haven't realized it yet...you're the ones who lost against me last time we battled. You still don't obtain the strength to defeat me, especially not with Phuture in that weak ass state."

"Hey!" Phuture called out to her husband, halting his determinated march towards Valeur. "This isn't the time and place! Remember that we needed to work together for effectiveness against Valeur!"

She was right about the timing being wrong, and that the duo needed to literally fuse their spiritual prowess together for effectiveness against Valeur.

Valeur cracked a grim smile.

Dark released his energy blades while mugging down Valeur's grinning face, deciding that his wife was right and remaining calm was the best direction for him. He was normally a man of great composure and thinking skills, but the sight of a demon he hated most enraged him.

Valeur was the biggest rival and foe for Dark, as The Confederate Demon was the biggest enemy for Willie Lou. Except the difference between The Confederate Demon and Valeur's strength was astronomical, since Valeur contained the strength to end entire universes in just a snap of fingers.

The Confederate Demon could've likely destroyed cities or states if he seeked, but he would've never been able to achieve the damage that Valeur could reach.

"Good to see that you've retained your brains after being transmigrated." Valeur placed both hands in his pocket and slowly began to walk a circle around Dark. "Have you enjoyed your time transmigrated as a slave?"

"We are no longer slaves." Dark replied. "We are free."

"There's no such thing as free in America, it's all a lie to delude humans into believing the country is a place of sanctuary." Valeur continued his steady pacing in circles, he said. "You of all people should be well aware of that, you were born in this corrupt country after all. You were born in the middle of a racial dispute that involved the entire planet, but America was the superpower leading the racial division. Am I correct?"

"What's your point?"

"You know that I enjoy fun and games...that's why I set all of this up just for you!"

Anger began to burn the blood in Dark's veins, there was a voice in his head that continued to repeat the same thing.

Attack him! Attack him! Attack him! Kill! Destroy Valeur! It doesn't matter if you aren't stronger than him, the demon was standing right before your own eyes! Kill him now or die trying, never back down from a battle against your sworn enemy!

Phuture stepped in front of Dark after using her telepathy ability, reading his mind of bloodlust and hoping to ease him from the quench of battle.

"What's the conditions of your game?" Phuture asked after stepping between Dark and Valeur, gently pushing her husband back to seperate him from The Divine Demon."

"It's simple really..." Valeur smiled, he answered. "Just stay alive...your children are also entertaining me back at Planet Phuture, so I don't need your game to be complex as theirs."

Phuture's eyes widened. "What?"

"Yeah, your kids are amongst my participants for The Execution Games." Valeur stretched his arms out while confessing to be the mastermind behind the manipulation of transmigration. "But one of them slipped away...so I came here to search for the fuckin' brat. But it seems that you haven't detected anyone related to you yet...and that could only mean they're still wondering throughout timelines to find you."

"Who?" Phuture shouted, she continued to question. "Which one of my children are you reffering to?"

Phuture had just given birth to a baby girl, but there was a difference in children born with divine spiritual energy than normal children. Her children were born with accelerated aging, a phenomenon where the child ages with much faster rates than normal until they're an adult. Meaning that her baby girl appearances was at least a young teenage woman by now, or an adult in her early twenties.

"I've already told you enough—that would just spoil the excitement for games right?" Valeur questioned, turning his back on Phuture and Dark. "I've already casted a ritual that blocks the two of you from time traveling, so that means the brat would have to directly arrive on this timeline. The odds of them achieving that are slim...I'll likely find and kill them before that happens."

Phuture nearly shouted out, but she decided to think thoroughly instead with the information given.

Phuture gave birth to six children throughout the years, adding another girl to their family before the unexpected transmigration. They were sure their newest addition would be smart as them, but she was still too fresh in the battlefield to jump through time in search of them.

It could only be one of my oldest children...either my oldest son or one of the oldest girls. Either way, I need to locate my child now before it's too late!
