Raj noticed the shadows under my eyes.
"You're burning yourself out," he said.
"Good," I replied. "At least I know I'm still alive."
He sighed. "Dhruve, sometimes the best revenge is to walk away."
I laughed. Not a happy laugh — the broken kind.
"She took away my home, my trust… and you want me to just walk away? No, man. I'll make her regret breathing easy."
Raj didn't argue after that. He just looked at me like he was staring at a stranger.
