Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: The Blessing

"Is that so? Then I'm starting to look forward to it." The Spring Sprite found it highly amusing. All this time, she had been the one bestowing blessings upon others; no one had ever blessed her.

Yu Jin looked at the Spring Sprite, glowing with blue light, pondered for a moment, and then said:

"The eternity of gold I do not know, and the warmth of the First Flame does not suit flowing water. I realize that even all rivers have a day when they cease, so all I can bestow upon you is hope."

"I hope that pure water will gather in your heart, and love and curiosity will reshape your form. At that time, embrace boldly, for you will not drown those you hold; pure water will only bring a deeper love."

"I hope that sorrow will no longer linger, and heart and joy will animate your life. At that time, love boldly, for those you love will merge into pure water, and the length of life will no longer matter."

"Finally, I hope that the flowing river of time will be unable to take anything from you. At that time, walk boldly, for infinite life is infinite hope, and all rivers will bear your footprints!"

Each sentence Yu Jin spoke, a shower of sparks erupted from within his armor. These tiny sparks fell into the Spring Sprite's body, and her form underwent a dramatic transformation.

A faint blue light emanated from the Qingquan, enveloping the pure water sprite. Under a mysterious power, love and curiosity were no longer mere stirrings in her heart but concretely materialized into her body.

"Pop!" A bubble burst, and a blue-haired Damselette appeared before Yu Jin.

"Is this her own human appearance in her heart? It's quite beautiful." Yu Jin had now broken out of his serious state and was appraising the newborn Spring Sprite.

Pure water should not be sorrowful; flow and vitality are her melody.

The Spring Sprite was now full of vital spiritual energy, which was truly commendable.

Yu Jin clapped his hands in satisfaction. It was his first time using his authority in another world, and it felt surprisingly good.

However, he was still weak. The blessing he had just given the Spring Sprite was not even a battle blessing, yet it had almost set him ablaze. If he had truly bestowed a battle blessing, he probably wouldn't have been able to handle it.

The Spring Sprite looked at her new body and felt the clarity of her soul. She understood that both her body and soul had been sublimated.

"You are?" The Spring Sprite asked respectfully, looking at Yu Jin. She wasn't foolish; the being before her was immensely powerful, easily rectifying the flaws of the pure water sprite race.

Such power, she had never witnessed even in the former Hydro Archon.

"Just a passing Adventurer!" Yu Jin picked up the pitchfork he had thrown on the ground, leaving the Spring Sprite with only a mysterious back... "Wait, I haven't received my Reward yet!" Yu Jin was walking on the path when he suddenly realized.

He had been so caught up in being mysterious that he hadn't collected his Mora.

However, he looked at the sky and decided to collect it whenever he had time. Old Finch couldn't possibly run away, could he?

Thinking this, Yu Jin was no longer in a hurry. He didn't need to sleep anyway, so walking slowly and enjoying the night scenery of Mondstadt wouldn't be bad.

Of course, it would be even better if he could stumble upon some grand conspiracy.

Unfortunately, Yu Jin was disappointed. He didn't stumble upon any conspiracy, only saw a white-haired woman floating in the air ahead, as if she had been waiting for him for a long time.

"You are looking for a fight!" Yu Jin turned and ran. Nonsense, it would be strange for a smuggler not to run when he saw the police!

Seeing Yu Jin's comically frantic running posture, the Sustainer's eye twitched slightly. Although she had known for days that Yu Jin was highly unreliable, facing him in person was truly exasperating.

"Buzz—" A black-red spatial rift suddenly appeared before Yu Jin. The Sustainer stepped out of it, blocking Yu Jin's path.

Then she saw Yu Jin's armor rapidly changing, a full set of heavy armor instantly covering his body.

That wasn't all. Yu Jin pulled out a bottle of perfumer's medicine from who knows where and, without even opening it, directly threw it into his helmet.

After the iron pot medicine entered his body, Yu Jin's entire physique, including the Havel's Greatarmor outside, began to shimmer with a metallic luster. At this moment, he looked as if he were forged from steel.

"Big Sister Administrator, gently." Yu Jin, lying on the ground, said as he slung Havel's Greatshield onto his back.

Yu Jin had once said that compromise was necessary when weak, and he was now fulfilling his words.

There was no choice; he couldn't win a fight, so this was the only way.

Of course, if Yu Jin were at his peak, he wouldn't be afraid, but unfortunately, he wasn't.

A '#' mark appeared on the Sustainer's forehead. She finally understood how that Khaenri'ah descendant felt.

How could there be such an unreliable person as Yu Jin!

"Get up, I won't hit you." The Sustainer stabilized her voice, barely managing to remain calm.

"You should have said so earlier! Big Sister Administrator, how about getting me a household registration?" Yu Jin shot up with a "whoosh," saying somewhat sheepishly.

It was best if there was no fight. Although he couldn't die, being severely beaten didn't feel good.

Moreover, he was hoping this Big Sister Administrator wouldn't pursue the matter of him secretly coming to this world.

"There's no such thing!" The Sustainer's mouth twitched again. A Descenders was a Descenders; not only she, but even the Heavenly Principles couldn't change that.

"Alright then, what do you want?" Once Yu Jin knew the Sustainer wasn't there to cause him trouble, he became lax again.

"Soon, one of the four shadows will arrive here. Do not reveal any information about her to anyone else." The Sustainer now only wanted to complete her task quickly, otherwise, she feared she wouldn't be able to maintain her composure.

"In exchange, I will allow you to violate a portion of the taboos, including the erosion you just dispelled." Seeing Yu Jin about to speak again, the Sustainer directly preempted him.

"As for where the bottom line is, I believe you understand." The Sustainer gave Yu Jin a meaningful look, then stepped into the spatial rift and disappeared without a trace.

Yu Jin looked at the quiet path that had returned to silence, and after a long time, he finally blurted out: "I don't understand!"

However, this sentence was destined to be unheard by anyone, because he had just felt the gaze that had been watching him disappear.

The Heavenly Principles and her four shadows were getting busy.

"Sigh, what a hassle." Yu Jin sighed with emotion. He just did whatever he thought of, without caring about any taboos at all.

Even "erode," he only thought it was just the soul being somewhat damaged by the erosion of time. Could this be considered a taboo?

Never mind. If the administrators of this world still came looking for him, he would just release You Sui.

Thinking this, Yu Jin relaxed again. The world was still vast, and there were many places he hadn't been. Why think so much?

Springvale was not far from Mondstadt. Even though Yu Jin deliberately slowed his pace, the night was still deep when he returned to Mondstadt City.

Such a tranquil Mondstadt, he had never seen before. Yu Jin felt playful. He began to leap across rooftops like a wildcat, admiring the city before him.

While enjoying the scenery, he also dealt with the sins of the deep night.

Yu Jin walked casually through an alley. Suddenly, he felt a strong gust of wind blow through the gaps in his armor.

"Clang!" A slender leg wrapped in black stockings kicked towards Yu Jin. Since it wasn't a vital spot, Yu Jin didn't dodge.

"Hmm?" Rosaria felt her kick had no effect whatsoever and couldn't help but frown.

She found this person's movements strange, his attire peculiar, and his appearance in a secluded alley late at night. Remembering her duties, she decided to test him.

But she hadn't expected this strange fellow without a Vision to be extraordinary. Her kick had left him completely unmoved, like an unyielding rock.

At this moment, Yu Jin also saw Rosaria's figure in the darkness. Although he couldn't clearly see her face, Yu Jin could vaguely discern that she was wearing a nun's habit, and he immediately complained:

"I'm not saying, are all the nuns of the Church of Favonius this fierce? Kicking right away, how could an ordinary person withstand that?"

"But you're not an ordinary person!" Rosaria argued inwardly, then quickly departed.

From Yu Jin's words, she judged him not to be a bad person, and seeing his lively appearance, she knew it was all a misunderstanding. To avoid awkwardness, she simply fled.

"Sir, in the future, please don't dress so strangely, in strange places, at strange times; people will misunderstand."

Rosaria threw out a sentence, then disappeared into the night.

"I'm going to report this to the Church of Favonius!" Yu Jin, hearing Rosaria say he was dressed strangely, immediately stomped his feet in anger.
