The battlefield was collapsing into apocalypse. The earth cracked open, cities burned, and the skies bled with fire and shadow. From the rift above, the armies of Darkseid and Thanos descended like a plague—thousands of Parademons, Outriders, and warships pouring into both worlds.
And in the middle of it all, heroes who had once fought each other now found themselves surrounded.
Superman hovered, chest heaving, his cape torn and scorched. Beside him, Iron Man rose unsteadily from the rubble, armor sparking, HUD flickering red. Their eyes met through the smoke—no words, no truce spoken, just understanding.
Thor landed next to Strange, lightning arcing from his hands. "You've made grave mistakes, sorcerer," he said, voice like thunder.Strange's gaze burned with regret. "And yet, here I am—ready to undo them." He opened his hands, glowing with renewed power. "Together, or not at all."
The air shifted. Captain America, Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, and Spider-Man regrouped in a tight circle as the armies closed in. The rift roared overhead, its energy feeding off destruction.Batman's voice cut through the noise: "We can't win divided. So we don't stay divided."Cap nodded grimly. "Then let's remind them why heroes don't fall easy."
The moment was silent—and then the storm broke.
Thor and Superman charged forward side by side, gods of thunder and sun colliding with Parademons in an explosion of light.Iron Man and Batman fought back-to-back, tech and tactics fusing into lethal precision.Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel cut through the sky, golden and blue streaks tearing apart warships.Doctor Strange, reclaiming his purpose, conjured a massive sigil, sealing collapsing buildings and shielding civilians.
Across the field, Thanos watched with cold amusement.Darkseid's eyes glowed. "Let them stand together. The higher they rise… the further they fall."
The war had shifted again. The heroes had remembered who they were.
But in the shadow of two gods, even unity might not be enough.
