what is magic? that's the question many people ask themselves some say that it is a gift from God some say that it is the power that has been granted by the earth in order to protect itself, but I know the truth. I who has transcended time and space I the greatest magician of all time. I have found out the truth, and this is the story of how i became the greatest magician in all of existence.
My name is lan and just like any other story of great people it has to start from when i was very weak compared to others.it all started on my 5th birthday, in this world of swords and magic when you turn 5 years old you must go to the church and verify your skills or so they say potential.
The power system in this world goes like this. there are those who are able to control mana and they choose the path of magicians, then those who can control life force they choose the life of saints or priests and then there are those who can control ki and those choose the path of warriors.
in a world like this there are people who are not given any power at all and those are called rejects they say that they are sinners who reject the power of God, so they are put to death at the early age of 5 after the ceremony and that's where my story begins.
Lan my child do not worry so much no matter what gift you get we will always be your father. as lan's father said this lan felt so happy because his family loved him no matter what. so the day came when he had to go to the ceremony him and his family when they got to church and they went on the line where there was over 100 people waiting in line they waited their turn and while they did that many kids got wonderful gifts which were strong which made everyone so happy that they were born but now only one child was left to take the test.
Step forward my child and receive the blessing of God, said the priest as he was holding an artifact that can connect people with God so that the gift can be reviled.
Now let's see what gift you will get. hold on why is nothing happening!! i know now this child has not been chosen, so put him to death!!
