On the way home, he switched on his phone.

A message from the bank popped up, revealing that five million had been withdrawn.

"Who did this? Did you do it, Ella?" he asked, staring at me intently.

"I did what?" I replied, feigning confusion.

"Withdraw money from the bank," he pressed.

"I don't know any passwords for your accounts," I responded confidently.

"Then who is it?" he inquired, frustration evident in his voice.

"Maybe it's your new wife at home," I said teasingly.

He was left speechless.

Exactly what I needed.

Once we got home, I made sure he had no chance to catch his breath.

I wanted him to see his whore enjoying a lavish life.

Fortunately, she was still there, caught up in her own little fun, blissfully unaware of our arrival.

William stood there with a look of despair on his face.

Just perfect.

"Do you see how your beloved is living while you're locked up?" I called out loudly.

She turned to us, shock etched on her features.

"Um—" she stammered.

"So, William, you really thought she would help you?" I continued, emphasizing my point.

"Babe, don't listen to her," she defended herself.

"I—I was just getting ready to come to the police station," she claimed.

"And the glass of champagne? Care to explain that?" I pressed further.

"Why, Nancy?" William finally spoke, looking bewildered.

"Darling," she began, standing and wrapping herself in a towel.

"The champagne means nothing; I was just trying to forget everything that happened to you," she explained.

"Mh! I see. And what about when you said it feels so good without that fool around?" I challenged her.

At that moment, Nancy had enough.

She raised her hand as if to slap me, but I quickly revealed the prosecutor's business card.

Her hand froze mid-air.

"Dare to lay a finger on me, and you'll see my true colors," I warned, my tone steady.

The incessant noise from her phone grated on her nerves.

She picked it up, eyes widening in disbelief.

"William, do you mind hearing the latest news?" she asked.

"What is it?" he replied, intrigued.

"Better ask your dear wife," she teased, a smirk playing on her lips.

William turned to face me, eyes narrowed.

"Speak up," he commanded.

"Let me help you," she interjected, pressing a few buttons on her phone.

"The headline reads: Billionaire's Wife Caught in Affair with an ex- Cop! But that's not all. Your wife was seen yesterday with our neighbor at the Five Hotel, intimately hugging each other.

Look!"

She tilted her phone toward him, displaying the title and an accompanying image.

William's gaze snapped back to me, his voice cold.

"So what do you have to explain?"

"I have nothing to explain to you," I shot back, my tone unwavering.

"So, you are cheating on me?" he accused.

I couldn't help but laugh. "Are you really jealous, Mr. Billionaire? Be careful; your new wife might be listening.

She'll be heartbroken," I teased.

"You're destroying my reputation," he insisted, desperation creeping into his voice.

"So you care about your reputation, but you don't care about how you've treated me beating me, mistreating me, and bringing your whore into our home," I countered.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Nancy interjected, drawing our attention.

"I can see our neighbor in the spotlight." She turned up the volume on her phone, revealing a live interview with the paparazzi.

"It's true, Ella and I are in love," our neighbor announced with pride.

My heart sank, but I realized it was time to confront my own feelings.

After all, I was in love with him too.

"I have important matters to attend to," I stated firmly.

"Where are you headed?" he queried.

"It's none of your business," I shot back.

A wave of happiness washed over me when he confessed his love, expressing it freely, and for a moment, everything felt wonderful.

One hour later...

My bastard husband, and his whore, Nancy, were preparing to leave.

"We'll be back by dinner," Nancy said.

But William cast me a peculiar glance.

Was he... jealous?

They checked into a luxurious hotel, sitting side by side.

"Why did you withdraw money without consulting me?" William asked her.

"Excuse me, do I need to ask for money?" she retorted confidently.

"My worth is in the millions," she added, and William merely nodded in response.

Suddenly, a familiar voice erupted, "Well! Well! My old friend!"

"Mr. Eric! It's been a while!" William exclaimed as they embraced warmly.

Nancy remained seated.

"I see you have good company," Mr. Eric noted, turning to William.

"Who is she to you?"

William hesitated.

"Um—," he stammered, glancing at Nancy, who smiled expectantly.

"Um—," he repeated, clearly caught off guard.

"Come on, my friend, tell me who she is!" Mr. Eric pressed again.

With a chuckle, William replied, "She is my side chick."

Everything froze!!

"What!" Nancy exclaimed, standing up and slapping him.

The Situation Intensifies!!

A side chick!!

Gosh!!

Everyone clearly heard that, it was so embarrassing.
