Lucien and Roen continue to walk along the lonely corridor when Lucien groans.
Roen glance at Lucien to see his full fangs protruding out of his mouth.
"Lucien you need blood," Roen says, his forehead creasing in a frown.
Lucien sighs "I know when I need blood Roen" he hiss.
"Did it hurt this much when you didn't mark your wife" Lucien asks looking at Roen.
They both resume walking "Well Vampires choose who they want to spend their life time with before marking them but seeing as you're not a full blooded Vampire I think your other side Is destined to have a mate" Roen replies pointing out to Lucien right eyes that have long turned pitch black.
"Damn" Lucien curse. Closing his eyes he snaps them open turning both eyes pitch black. Hearing the familiar heart beat he had picked up from the wolf he snaps his head to the right, staring at the figure at the other end of the corridor.
And there she is standing in all her glory staring at the wall. His long protruding fangs withdrew itself back into his mouth. His bitch black eyes return back to those familiar grey orbs.
He takes slow strides towards her "I finally found you" he says.
She turns around to feel her breath stuck in her lungs.
Staring at those unfamiliar grey orbs she feels her wolf shift.
"Lilly, is there anything wrong?" she asks her wolf in her head.
"We found our mate Ash" Lilly replies, making Asherah freeze.
Lucien stretches his hand towards her face and she quickly holds his hand stopping him. Making space between them she turns around rushing back to the Grand hall.
Asherah sneaks into the hall walking steadily to where her royal family is dining.
"Ash you are here come sit with me" Theron says with smiles on his face. Asherah quickly throws herself into her father's arms hugging him.
"I missed you father"
"I missed you more darling"
"Brother Aiden" Asherah says excitedly. Aiden stands hugging Asherah "You have a lot of explaining to do" he whispers in her ears making her pale.oh shit he recognizes my voice. Asherah grins sheepishly, staring at him with an apologetic gaze.
He pats her head reassuringly, taking out a chair for her to sit.
Asherah smiles sitting on the chair Aiden offers her.
With her head down she says "First Princess of Moonstone greets the Luna of Moonstone pack".
Ophelia stares at Asherah with scorn, ignoring her greetings.
Amalthea frowns "That's not how the Princess of Royalty greets. She is not just the Luna of our pack but also our Royal mother" She says, staring at Asherah with distaste.
Asherah sighs, not bothering to justify herself.
At the same time King Lucien walks towards the Royal family. Seeing him Asherah avoids his gaze.
"King Lucien, you're right on time, please have a seat," Theron says, giving him a curt nod which the latter replies with the same gesture.
Hearing this Asherah stares at him with shock.
Lucien takes a seat beside Amalthea making her flustered.
"Ash, this is King Lucien Vlad. King of Dothan kingdom. Your betrothed husband"
Asherah nods her head staring at the food in her front.
Amalthea frowns "Dad what do you mean. Why are you marrying Ash to him when I'm here" Amalthea says.
"Ash is the first princess of this pack Thea and it's only right to get her married before you". Theron says.
Amalthea scoffs "That's a big lie father. I know how much you cherish and favour Ash the most. You just want her to leave the pack so that she wouldn't be subjected to the scorn of the people knowing she's cursed". Amalthea says in anger.
"Thea" Aiden burst out in anger slamming his fist on the table.
Asherah kept mute with what Amalthea said because she said nothing but the truth. She is cursed and she can never run away from it.
"Thea your father has made the right decision for your sister, why don't you respect that" Ophelia says before Aiden acts on his anger.
Theron sighs "I apologise to you for my children misbehaviour King Lucien" Theron apologizes to see Lucien looking at his daughter intently whose head was down staring at her plate. Why is she wearing a Veil??
