MOONLiT SHADOW

(Love is for the brave)

*Chapter One: The City of Shadows*

Chiang Mai, a city steeped in history and mysticism, lay shrouded in night. The moon cast an ethereal glow over the ancient temples and bustling streets. Mark, a spirit hunter with a troubled past, navigated the crowded markets with ease. His eyes scanned the stalls selling traditional trinkets and fragrant incense, searching for signs of the supernatural.

As he turned a corner, Mark spotted Jun, a gentle medium, standing outside a small, unassuming shop. Jun's eyes locked onto Mark's, and a soft smile spread across his face. Mark's heart skipped a beat; he had been drawn to Jun for a while now.

"Mark," Jun called out, his voice low and soothing. "I've been expecting you."

Mark's cheeks flushed slightly as he approached Jun. "What have you found?" he asked, trying to sound professional.

Jun's smile grew wider. "The energy is growing stronger. I sense a presence, something ancient and powerful. It's linked to the recent disturbances."

As they spoke, Mark couldn't help but notice the way Jun's eyes sparkled in the moonlight. He felt a flutter in his chest, a feeling he hadn't experienced in a long time.

"Let's investigate further," Mark suggested, trying to focus on the task at hand. "I have a feeling this is bigger than we thought."

Jun nodded, and together they stepped into the shadows, the air thick with anticipation.
