Synopsis
In a world carved into industrial empires, ruled by iron-handed monarchs known as the Kings of Sectors, humanity survives under the shadow of the Louis Dynasty—a regime that feeds on blood, labor, and fear. Each Sector is its own kingdom, ruled by a “King” who enforces the will of the unseen sovereign, Lucious, the Emperor of Shadows. Among the broken millions toiling beneath the earth, Benedikt, a miner from Sector 5, rises from dust and despair. When he witnesses the execution of an innocent man by Thor Belfrin, the brutal King of Sector 5, something within him awakens — a buried instinct, a forbidden force that shouldn’t exist anymore. That force is called Qavi — a power thought extinct since the wars that shattered the old world. Its return marks the beginning of a new era — and a new hunt. Guided by Murg, a reclusive engineer obsessed with forgotten history, Benedikt begins to uncover a network of lies that stretches far beyond the mines. The Sectors are not just territories — they are containment zones, built to seal away remnants of ancient powers. And the Kings are not rulers... but wardens. As Benedikt’s rebellion against Belfrin sparks chaos across Berlin’s underworld, he draws the attention of the other Sector Kings: Bjartney Steingrimdottir, the Queen of Sector 2, whose power turns asteroids into weapons. Cluster Orichii, the Flickering Meteorite, a warlord who moves faster than light. Dull Rooster, the strategist who manipulates entire armies without lifting a blade. And Oesto, the lone survivor of the legendary warrior Zan Cross—a name whispered like a curse in the dark. But beneath them all lies a greater truth: Lucious is not the true King. He serves another order—the Big 7, rulers who govern entire continents from the shadows, each holding a fragment of the divine power once wielded by gods. And among them stands the King of Berlin, the King of India, and the mysterious Eternal Monarch, whose will shapes the destiny of all. As Benedikt’s powers evolve, his humanity begins to fracture. The line between man and monster fades, and every victory pulls him deeper into the ancient war between light and decay. The kings will rise, the crowns will fall, and the world will drown in the echoes of the past. Because when the Rusted Crown finally breaks— the forgotten gods will return.

Chapter 1: The Rusted Crown

Sector 5: A World of Shadows

Sector 5 is a place where the sun never fully rises, where the sky is a permanent shade of gray. The landscape is a testament to the region's industrial might—a relentless expanse of mines that carve deep into the earth, their metal teeth piercing the rocky soil. Smoke billows from countless chimneys, casting a perpetual haze over the area. The air is thick with the stench of sulfur and sweat, a constant reminder of the brutal conditions that define life here.

Benedikt[1] is one of the thousands of miners who toil beneath the earth's surface. His days are a relentless cycle of back-breaking labor, punctuated by the occasional harsh command from the guards who patrol the mine. Thor Belfrin[2], one of the regional kings under the despotic Louis Dynasty, is a figure of terror. His presence is felt in every corner of Sector 5, his rule as ironclad as the chains that bind the miners.

The people of Sector 5 live in a state of perpetual servitude. Their every move is scrutinized by armed guards, their every failure met with brutal punishment. The mines are their prison, their lives measured by a cruel quota set by Thor. For many, there is no escape, no hope of freedom. But for Benedikt, a spark of rebellion is beginning to burn within him.

One day, Thor Belfrin's presence becomes a tangible threat. He arrives at the mine, his carriage rolling through the dark tunnels, casting an eerie glow. The miners fall silent, their hearts pounding in their chests. Thor dismounts from his carriage, his eyes cold and calculating. His gaze falls upon a young worker named Arlo, who has just been caught short on his quota. With a sneer, Thor approaches Arlo, his hand gripping a whip.

"You're useless," Thor spits, his voice dripping with contempt. "I've had enough of your incompetence." Before Arlo can react, Thor raises his whip and brings it crashing down. The sound of the crack echoes through the mine, followed by Arlo's scream. The other miners watch in horror as Thor continues to beat Arlo, each strike more brutal than the last. When Arlo finally falls silent, Thor steps back, his face dripping with blood.

"Remember this," he says, his voice a chilling promise. "Anyone who fails me will meet the same fate."

Benedikt feels the anger boiling inside him. He can't stand by and watch as another innocent man is destroyed. He steps forward, his voice trembling with defiance.

"Enough!" he shouts. "This isn't right! You can't just take someone's life like that!"

Thor turns his cold gaze upon Benedikt. A cruel smile spreads across his face.

"And who are you to tell me what's right?" he asks, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You're nothing but a miner, a slave like the rest of them."

Before Benedikt can respond, Thor raises his hand, signaling for the guards to intervene. The guards move in, their weapons drawn. Benedikt braces himself for the inevitable beating, but something inside him snaps. He raises his fists and launches himself at Thor, his fury fueling his strength.

The guards rush to pull Benedikt away, but not before he manages to land a few blows. Thor is momentarily stunned, but quickly regains his composure. He raises his whip and brings it down on Benedikt's back, causing the young miner to cry out in pain.

As Benedikt is dragged away, his body bruised and battered, he looks back at Thor. His eyes are filled with hatred and defiance.

"One day," he whispers, his voice barely audible. "I'll burn your crown."

Murg's Hidden Workshop

Deep within the shadows of Sector 5, hidden from prying eyes, lies Murg's workshop. It is a place of solitude and secrecy, a sanctuary where Murg can work on his most ambitious project. The workshop is a maze of old machinery and ancient texts, its walls covered in dust and cobwebs. Murg himself is a figure of mystery, a shadowy figure who is rumored to be a secret engineer.

Murg spends his days poring over ancient files, his fingers tracing the worn pages. These files reveal the existence of a forgotten power called Qavi—a force that is unknowingly connected to Benedikt's bloodline. Qavi is a power that has been lost to history, a power that could change everything. But unlocking its secrets will not be easy.

Murg is a man of determination, a man who refuses to accept the status quo. He knows that the people of Sector 5 need hope, and he believes that Qavi can provide it. But to unlock the power, he must first find the key. And that key lies within Benedikt's bloodline.

The Burning Mine

As the chapter comes to a close, Benedikt stands at the edge of the burning mine. The night sky is ablaze with the flickering flames, casting an eerie glow over the landscape. The mine is a wreck, its once-mighty structures reduced to smoldering ruins. The guards who once patrolled the area are nowhere to be seen, their fate unknown.

Benedikt's voice is a low rumble, filled with a sense of purpose.

"One day..." he says, his eyes locked on the flames. "I'll burn their crowns."
