Chapter 2 - System.

I felt myself being restrained by something as all that greeted me was darkness yet again.

Did that entity lie to me? No way, they have no reason to was the assumption I made. I have a body I can feel it. As I wiggle around. But I feel restricted, like I am enclosed in something.

Suddenly I hear cracking noises, like an egg? I instinctively push and wiggle more to try and break free, it is like my body is on autopilot.

All of a sudden, I actually see something more than just darkness for what feels like ages. A ray of hot sunlight reaches my vision as I continue to break out of this shell I am in.

Once I am out, without thinking, I turned toward the shattered remnants of my prison and began to eat. The shell was oddly delicious, salty, yet refreshing, filling me with energy that pulsed through my entire body. It felt like I could go without food for years.

After I was done I looked around my new environment, it seems I was born in some stone cavern that is nestled up high somewhere. I could see from the entrance that the clouds were brushing against my new home, as birds flew freely above them.

These birds, however, had multiple sets of wings and were larger than any I knew of on earth

I turned my gaze away from the outside as I looked down at an expansive body of water within the empty and massive cavern and what greeted me was what I have been trying to deny this whole time, I was no human, I was now a dragon.

Around the size of a truck in height and width, long sinuous body, compact with muscles that seemed to hum with power, a long and graceful neck and an equally long tail that seemed to wrap around my body like a snake.

My scales were a glistening and glossy white, giving off an aura of divinity. My eyes burned a deep, ruby red.

And weirdly enough, two smaller wings were found at my lower back, where small spikes jutted out like a mountain range.

"Wow, this is crazy..." Once I spoke, the cavern seemed to tremble from the deep rumble my voice conveyed like thunder rolling through the mountains.

Why do I feel so powerful already? I feel like I could destroy a building by talking alone.

Then, it happened.

As I was contemplating my new existence and supposed role in this new world, where I am meant to climb the stairway to the very heavens , a loud ding sound reverberated in my mind.

Host has been found.

Binding to Host by order of *********

Binding successful

"Hello, Host! I am your assigned guide, a gift from the entity ********. I am here to assist you in efficiently reaching your rightful place upon the divine throne!"

"My… rightful place? You make it sound like I used to be the Dragon God."

"Error! Unable to divulge information linked to previous Dragon God."

I let out a low growl that made the air vibrate. "Fine. Then tell me what you can. Let's start with this world and how I can climb that so-called divine throne."
