In the night, inside of a pretty small town, a young man woke up from his sleep.
"What a weird dream..." he thought.
He got up and walked towards the bucket of water in the corner of the room. He splashed water on his face and then let out a cold breath.
While he tried to come back to himself. He smiled as he imagined the results that would be told to him the next morning.
Yesterday, he entered a test in his town that tested the mental power of the people. The people who have tested. The Freedom Mind group said to them that the results will be announced the next morning.
"I, Micheal Brin, will have enough mental power to pass their test and take one step towards becoming one of the Mystics..."
The time passed quickly.
The morning arrived.
Micheal did not sleep much because of excitement and expectation of the result.
In the morning time. He left his home, where he lived alone, due to the fact that his mother and father left the town after he was born and went to the town center.
He looked around and saw many familiar faces.
Some of them are as young as ten years old, and some of them are thirty-year-old men and women.
Everybody who has tested and some of their families have come to understand and see if they passed the test.
"Everybody wants to know the results." Micheal thought.
After about ten minutes later. A man in blue robes came to the center and started talking. He did not need to shout, as nobody made any noise or anything to make it hard to hear him.
"I will be calling out the names that are passed."
"If your name is not called out, leave the area..."
After the man said his words. He took a paper from his belt and started shouting names.
One by one, people started to go to the side of the man.
Their families and they were happy beyond the understanding of humanity.
After about fifteen seconds. The man said the name Micheal wanted.
"Micheal Brin."
With great ecstasy, Micheal moved and took his side with about ten other people.
At that time, everyone expected more names to be announced. The man in the blue robe stopped calling out any more names and said.
"This is all the people who have passed the first test. All the others are eliminated and can go back to their life."
He then, without waiting for people to talk, turned to ten people, including Micheal, and said.
"Follow me."
Without any word. The group followed the blue-robed man. They entered a small building after walking back from the town.
After they entered. The man pointed out the chairs in the room. Everybody sat on the chair of their choosing, and then the man started.
"The first test you people have passed is called the Mental Aptitude Test. It is a test that we do so the people understand if they have enough mental capacity to go forward with us."
"Now. I will utter a word of "Mystic," and it will cause all of you to awaken, and then you people will see the numerical value of your mental aptitude."
"Do not be scared..."
The blue-robed man said, and then with the look of others. He whispered.
"Sye Un Elix"
With the man saying the words. All the people in the room, including Micheal, felt like they were hit by a heavy object on their head and then shook their head to come back to themselves.
At the same time. Michael saw something.
"Micheal Brin"
"Classification – Student"
"Mental Power = 2.7"
After about ten seconds, while the people were trying to understand. The blue-robed man spoke.
"The number you see is the numerical value of your mental aptitude or mental power."
"More of it means more powerful mind power you have, and less of it means less."
"Ordinary humans are usually capped at 1.0 Mental Power and cannot increase it."
"For one to pass the first test of the Mystics, their mental power must be at 2.0 or higher."
"As it shows that it could be increased via techniques."
The blue-robed man took a deep breath and then smiled.
"Now, I will utter another word, and we will find ourselves in another place."
"Again. Do not get scared. Getting scared at this point will break your future potential, as it will create trauma for your later studies."
All the people, despite having many questions, knew better than to think it was the time for asking questions.
Mental Power also showed that that one is at a higher level of intelligence than others. So, all the people who have a higher level of intelligence would know better how to act or not to act in any kind of situation.
Blue Robed Man then closed his eyes again and whispered.
"Rid Num—Ride Nume—Ednis—Freedmis."
With his words. Micheal felt like he was shaken, and then his eyes blackened for a moment, and then his vision came back. He looked around to find himself in a pretty open area with big buildings made up of stone and many people wearing blue robes.
The blue-robed man then said.
"Welcome to Freedom Mind, headquarters of Freedom, students."
