Chapter 28 - Prophecy

"You are too polite, Rhodes. This is the compensation Lordaeron is paying you, please take it! If you wish to learn Holy Light Spells, you are welcome to come find me at the Chapel of the Holy Light at any time, and I can try to teach you some."

Uther said.

1,500 gold coins were indeed very valuable, enough to hire a small army, but since Arthas had agreed, they had to produce it!

Furthermore, he learned from some of the soldiers that!

This Rhodes wielded extremely powerful Legion-level magic, and even possessed Holy Light, making him someone worth befriending and recruiting.

"If you insist on giving it! Lord Uther, please distribute these gold coins to the refugees of Stratholme! They might need this money more to rebuild their homes, even if each person only receives one or two gold coins."

Rhodes said.

The purpose of doing this was to do a favor, purely to gain Uther's goodwill so that the other party would teach him Holy Light Spells, and doing this could also boost his reputation within the Alliance.

Uther was very satisfied upon hearing this, looked at Rhodes approvingly, then nodded and ordered the soldiers to distribute all the gold coins to the surviving residents of Stratholme!

Truly worthy of being a wielder of the Holy Light. Although he himself was a mage, his character was extremely upright; he was a person whose heart was filled with justice, no wonder the Holy Light favored him.

"Rhodes, although I have been relieved of all my duties as the head of the Silver Hand, my old comrades are still willing to follow my command, and I still hold the title of Lord. May I invite you to the Capital City of Lordaeron to meet Your Majesty the King Terenas?"

"I believe Your Majesty the King will certainly give you a very warm welcome, and along the way, I can discuss the Way of the Holy Light with you."

Uther said.

"That won't be necessary! I have already promised Lady Jaina to go with her to Dalaran to meet Archmage Antonidas."

Rhodes politely declined Uther's invitation.

"That is truly a pity. In that case, I can only write you a letter of introduction and have you proceed to the Chapel of the Holy Light!

The Paladins and Priests there will certainly treat you well.

I apologize, Rhodes, but I must now proceed to the Capital City of Lordaeron to report to King Terenas about Arthas.

If you do not travel with me, I am afraid I will not be able to discuss the truths of the Holy Light with you."

Uther said.

"It's alright, Rhodes. I have teleportation spells anyway, so we can go to the Capital City of Lordaeron first.

You can meet King Terenas, and then return to Dalaran with me afterward!"

Jaina said.

Do not underestimate a powerful mage; her mastery of teleportation magic was extremely high. She could easily teleport remotely from the Capital City of Lordaeron to Dalaran, and taking Rhodes along presented no problem at all.

Lord Uther is the most powerful Paladin in the Alliance, one of the original Paladins, and opportunities to learn from him are rare; this chance must not be missed.

Rhodes pondered briefly, then nodded and accepted Uther's invitation. Calculating the time, Arthas' fleet would sail for one month before reaching Northrend.

He would then stay there for a period, meet the Dwarf Muradin Bronzebeard, and search for Frostmourne!

He would then be corrupted by the Lich King, wander the wilderness for a few days, return to his camp, slaughter the Lordaeron soldiers who followed him, and then embark on the journey home.

Even at the fastest speed, the round trip alone would take two months, plus the fighting on the continent of Northrend!

Arthas would not return to the Capital City of Lordaeron for at least three months, giving him plenty of time to stay in the Capital City of Lordaeron.

"That is wonderful. I will go arrange a few things first, Rhodes. We will meet at the city gates shortly, and I will take you to the Capital City of Lordaeron."

Uther nodded at Rhodes, greeted Jaina, and then turned to leave to arrange some post-war work in Stratholme.

"I apologize for troubling you this time, Lady Jaina, to travel with me to the Capital City of Lordaeron."

Rhodes said, looking at Jaina.

"Don't mention it, Rhodes. Besides, I haven't been to the Capital City of Lordaeron in a long time. I actually miss my sister Calia a little, so this is a good chance for me to see her.

Also, just call me Jaina from now on, no need to add 'Lady' before it. I won't use honorifics when I call you either!"

Jaina said.

"Alright, Jaina."

Rhodes said.

After Uther left, a gray raven suddenly descended from the sky. After the massive gray raven landed, a puff of magical smoke transformed it into an old man wearing a flaxen robe and holding a staff!

"Young Wizard, and young Witch, although the undead on this land have temporarily subsided, do not be fooled by this illusion.

On the cold northern continent of Northrend, your friend, the young Prince Arthas of Lordaeron, will find nothing but death."

Medivh said.

"Are you the Prophet? Arthas is just doing what he believes is right."

Jaina said, glancing at the mysterious old mage before her.

"The Prince's courage is commendable, but this kind of obsession will only lead to his downfall. The heavy burden now falls upon you!

You must lead your people west, crossing the sea to the ancient continent of Kalimdor.

Only there can you combat the coming darkness and save this world from the flames."

Medivh slowly spoke.

At this moment, Rhodes looked at Medivh with some surprise. Had he, a small figure, actually entered the sights of the Guardian? Or rather, in the eyes of the Guardian, was he no longer considered a small figure?

"Who exactly are you?"

Rhodes asked, though he already knew.

"Who I am is not important. What is important is that both of you must go to Kalimdor. Wizard, your name is Rhodes, correct?

Do not underestimate the power you possess. I sense that you will accomplish countless great deeds in the future; you will save this world multiple times!

Come to Kalimdor! Young Wizard Rhodes, we shall meet again then."

After Medivh finished speaking, he transformed once more into a giant raven and flew away.

"Rhodes, it seems this Prophet values you highly?"

Jaina asked, glancing at Rhodes.

"I think he values you more. Let's go! We should meet up with Lord Uther."

Rhodes nodded at Jaina and said.

To be honest, he really didn't want Medivh to favor him. Couldn't he just favor Jaina instead? He wanted to develop quietly!

"Hmm! But Rhodes, I'm quite sure he valued you more."

Jaina said.

A few hours later, Jaina and Rhodes met up with Uther and headed toward the Capital City of Lordaeron.
