Chapter 26
As night fell, Nami finished her charts and was heading back to her room when she heard Guina's muffled voice. Thinking something was wrong, she curiously approached.
Standing at Jepack's door, she tilted her head and asked:
"Big Sis Guina, what's going on?"
What she saw was Jepack giving Guina a relaxing massage, gently tapping and kneading her shoulders, neck, and arms.
Guina looked up at the sound and smiled at Nami:
"Nami-chan~ Perfect timing! Come let Jepack give you a massage too. His hands are really good. It relieves all the fatigue from a day of training—I feel so much lighter now!"
Nami: "Eh~~ Really?"
"Of course! Hurry up and lie down!"
Jepack chimed in, pulling Nami over and laying her down.
His hands never stopped working on Guina's shoulders.
"Ahhh~~~! Seriously, all the exhaustion from the whole day just melted away~~"
After taking a sip of Pepsi that Jepack pulled from his system storage, both Guina and Nami let out satisfied sighs.
At that moment, Jepack stood up.
"There—all done for both of you. Today's massage session is over!"
"Now it's your turn to help me out. Especially my shoulders and neck—I've been feeling really stiff lately!"
Jepack requested the two girls.
"Got it, Captain~"
Nami smiled and started massaging Jepack, followed by Guina. Each took one of his arms and began working.
"Hiss~ Right there! Right in the middle~~!"
Time passed like that…
The three eventually returned to their own rooms to rest. Unable to sleep, Jepack lay on the lookout platform, deep in thought.
Before he knew it, the sky began to lighten.
The next day at noon…
Jepack lay listlessly in his deck chair, eyes half-closed, occasionally sipping a Pink Cow to perk himself up.
Guina and Nami were still asleep—last night must have really worn them out. He had no idea how long they kept massaging him after he fell asleep.
So early that morning, the two girls had kicked him out of his own captain's cabin—claiming it was because he had a duel appointment!
When even the Pink Cow couldn't wake him up, Sanji finally arrived on the Ten'en with his delicious food.
"Hand it over!"
Jepack snatched the food from Sanji's hands, divided it into three portions, and quickly devoured his share.
The other two were kept warm—for Guina and Nami when they woke up.
This way I don't have to cook! Perfect~ Perfect~
Jepack thought happily, wiping his mouth after finishing.
Only then did he turn to Sanji, who looked like he was constipated.
Sanji: "…You're full now? Can we start our duel?"
Jepack: "Hold on, hold on."
He took one last refreshing gulp of ice-cold Pink Cow.
"Ahhh~~~ Full! Let's go."
Jepack led Sanji into the training room. Since the equipment here was durable from regular use with Guina, it was the perfect spot—if things got too intense, it wouldn't be too hard to repair.
Sanji followed him in. Just as he was about to light a cigarette, Jepack's Rankyaku kicked it flying!
"No smoking indoors!"
Jepack warned. Sanji stared at him in terror.
That kick just now was terrifying…
Sanji already felt some fear, but since he'd come this far, he wasn't going to back down.
Jepack struck a Wing Chun opening stance and said to Sanji:
"Wing Chun, Ip… Jepack!"
"Head Meat SHOOT!"
"Pathfinder Hand!"
"Shoulder Meat SHOT!"
"Palm Block, Tan Sau!"
"Chest Meat SHOOT!"
"Press Hand, Bong Sau!"
"... ..."
Sanji started with powered-up SHOOT moves right away—clearly still shaken by that earlier kick.
Even with the strengthened techniques, Jepack neutralized everything using basic Wing Chun.
"Time to get serious. Brace yourself for my attack, Sanji!"
Jepack warned, then charged in close with an "Eight Extremes Collapse," knocking Sanji back several meters. He followed up with rapid Rankyaku strikes—Sanji could barely block a couple before being sent flying.
Jepack didn't close in again. From a distance, he fired a "Finger Pistol · Six King Gun."
The power was far beyond what current Sanji could handle. Seeing him brace for impact…
Jepack felt a pang of sympathy and slightly redirected the attack. It tore straight through the training room wall!
The shockwave blasted Sanji into the sea. The stunned Sanji snapped awake the moment he hit the water, floating on the surface and staring dumbly at the huge hole in the ship.
"Hey! You okay? If you're fine, come up and have a dried plum!"
Jepack pretended to pull out a dried plum from his pocket—actually taking it from his system storage!
Soaked and dripping, Sanji climbed back onto the Ten'en, still in disbelief that this unserious guy shouting about dried plums was actually so strong.
Jepack: "Have a dried plum. The duel's over—you lost."
Sanji: "…I lost… How are you this strong?!"
Jepack spread his hands casually: "Trained since I was a kid. Heaven gave me the talent. What can I say~"
Sanji: "… … Since I lost, I won't bother you anymore. Goodbye!"
Jepack: "Sure, no need to stay for dinner. We'll come back to your restaurant for tonight's meal anyway!"
Sanji turned and left…
Jepack watched Sanji's dramatic exit for a moment before realizing something.
"Damn it—there's a huge hole in my ship! No wonder that blond kid ran so fast—he didn't want to take responsibility. I've gotta fix this before Guina and Nami wake up and notice!"
Just then, two eerie voices came from behind him.
"Jepack! What are you trying to sneakily do while we're asleep?!"
Jepack: "Don't come closer~!"
In the end, he couldn't withstand the combined assault of the two girls. Alone, he silently repaired the damaged training room wall.
When we reach Water 7, I'm giving the Ten'en a proper upgrade!
Meanwhile, Guina and Nami lounged on the deck chairs, enjoying the food. They glanced at each other and said in unison:
"Occasionally skipping chart-drawing/training feels pretty nice~~"
