Synopsis
Some people live longer than they should. Anastasha has always known there was something different about her—something that made time hesitate around her bones. When fragments of memories that aren’t hers begin to surface—faces she’s never met, a love she never lived, a betrayal that still burns—she’s forced to confront the truth: this is not her first life. She is one of a rare few altered by a mysterious gift that arrests aging and fractures memory. Protected and monitored by a secretive team led by the enigmatic Gabriel, Anastasha is drawn into a hidden world of anomalies, classified missions, and carefully buried truths. But when past lives begin to awaken and an old love triangle resurfaces across centuries, the boundaries between who she was and who she is start to collapse. As powerful forces close in—cartels, corporations, and men who believe immortality should be owned—Anastasha must decide what she’s willing to remember, what she’s willing to forgive, and whether love can survive more than one lifetime. Because some gifts don’t let you live forever. They make you remember forever

Chapter 1 - Chapter One.

ANASTASHA

It is a beautiful Tuesday Afternoon. The sun is shining, the breezing coming from outside of my window is a comforting and cool as ever, I am on my bed swaddled by blankets binge watching all 11 movies of fast and furious. This is the life and trust I have lived a lot of lives. Anyways-

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Andddd the peace is over. The disappointment being very evident on my face. Now normally when you hear scream that loud, your first instinct would be to run to check out what the source of that scream was. Unfortunately, that is not the case in this particular situation. I forcefully drag myself out of the safe haven I had perfectly curated for myself and move towards the source of said noise.

I am graciously greeted with a dramatically pacing Liliana. And Of course, being the very caring person a I calmly ask her what the problem is. "someone should have better died for you to be shouting so early in the morning"

Liliana: 'SOMEONE KILLED MY EXPIRIMENT!"

She explodes, as kelvin jogs in into the room, adjusting his glasses and scanning the room like he is prepping for a disaster. Gabriel on the underhand appears at the door way like he teleported, calm and composed as always but with a lethal stillness that say he was ready for blood. Lilian then proceed to point dramatically the counter. Three set of eyes follow… to a shattered glass beaker dripping neon blue liquid on the floor.

Liliana: [Wailing] My culture sample! It was thriving! Flourishing! A beautiful colony of possibility-- MURDERED before its Prime!

Kelvin pinched the bridge of his nose, muttering something about "misuse of the word murdered". Gabriel blinks once, then fixes her with his world-famous soul-crushing stare. You see if you have lived with Liliana as long as we have you start to get desensitized by… well anything related to her and yet she somehow always manages to find ways to get a reaction from us.

Gabriel: … You woke the entire house for bacteria.

Liliana: [ Offended Gasp] Excuse me. Not bacteria. A Rare, Fragile, One-of-a-kind culture. You wouldn't understand- you think coffee is a food group.

I rub my temples, not in unamused frustration as Kelvin crouches to clean up the mess. Then he says in his usual calm and patient voice.

Kelvin: Next time, Liliana, Maybe don't leave it so close to the counter.

I throw a towel I pick up from the table next to m and throw it at her. She catches it with a smug grin on her face. Gabriel exhales slowly- probably regretting not letting her explode centuries Ago.

Gabriel: [quiet and sharp] help him clean up your mess. And stop screaming.

Gabriel gracefully exits, Lilian reluctantly joins Kelvin in the ground to clean up her mess as she mutters "no appreciation for genius in this house." I chuckle at her remarks before make my way back to my room to indulge myself in some very unhealthy binge watching.

And yes, growing bacteria in one's room is what is considered normal in this house. You see if have spent as long as we have on this planet, you would do anything to kill boredom even if it means nurturing bacteria or breaking down pentagon's firewalls. We are far from normal and I honestly would not have it any other way.
