Synopsis
When the sky shatters and a mysterious System appears, Earth is thrown into chaos. Cities collapse, monsters flood the streets, and humanity learns a terrifying truth: The planet has become part of a cosmic survival game. Only those chosen as Players can fight back. Among them is Kael Veyron, an ordinary young man who receives a forbidden class the System tried to hide — Void Devourer. Unlike other players who level up through normal skills, Kael can devour the power of anything he kills — monsters, demons, even ancient beings. As dungeons appear across the world and powerful guilds rise to dominate the new era, Kael begins climbing the ranks of the System. With every battle, his strength grows beyond human limits. But the deeper he explores the System, the more horrifying the truth becomes. Earth was never meant to survive. It was only the first battlefield. Now Kael must grow strong enough not only to save humanity, but to challenge the mysterious Overseers who control the System itself — and claim the throne of the Void King. Because in a universe where entire worlds fall… Only one ruler can rise.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The Day the Sky Broke

The sky cracked.

At first, people thought it was thunder. Then the clouds split apart like shattered glass, revealing a swirling purple void above the city.

Cars stopped in the streets. People stared upward in confusion.

Then a voice echoed inside every human mind.

"The Void System has begun initialization."

Silence fell for a moment.

Then panic erupted everywhere.

"What was that?!"

Phones buzzed. Screens glitched.

A glowing message appeared before everyone's eyes.

WELCOME, PLAYERS.

EARTH HAS BEEN SELECTED FOR SURVIVAL PROTOCOL.

FIRST WAVE IN: 10 MINUTES.

Kael Veyron stood on the rooftop of his apartment building, staring at the message.

"A system…?" he whispered.

Three class options appeared.

Warrior.Mage.Archer.

Then the screen flickered.

A fourth option appeared.

Dark.

Different.

VOID DEVOURER

WARNING: FORBIDDEN CLASS

Kael smiled slightly.

"Interesting."

He selected it.

The world went silent.

Then the system spoke again.

CONGRATULATIONS.YOU ARE THE FIRST VOID PLAYER.

At that exact moment—

A monster crashed onto the street below.

The first wave had begun.
