Chapter 11 - Episode 11: “Jealousy That Has No Name”

After that day…

something changed silently.

Not in the college.

But in them.

🌧️ Arjun – The Strange Feeling

Arjun Mehta didn't understand it at first.

It started small.

A feeling when he saw her from distance.

A pause when she talked to others.

A discomfort he couldn't explain.

He told himself:

"It doesn't matter."

But it still stayed.

🌸 Anaya – The Same Problem

Anaya Verma was worse at hiding it.

She saw everything.

But now…

she noticed him noticing things too.

And that made no sense to her.

Because she never cared before.

So why now?

🖤 The New Student Arrives

A new student entered the class.

Tall. Confident. From another elite branch family.

His name was Rohan Malhotra.

He was assigned to student council orientation.

And from the moment he entered…

he looked at Anaya.

Like he already knew her.

"Anaya Verma," he smiled. "We finally meet again."

Silence.

Arjun, sitting at the back, looked up slightly.

Not intentionally.

Just… naturally.

🌧️ The First Spark of Jealousy

Rohan stood close to Anaya.

Too comfortable.

Too familiar.

"I heard you're handling student council alone," he said casually.

Anaya replied flatly:

"I manage fine."

He smiled again.

"I can help. Like old times."

That line…

hit differently.

Arjun didn't know why.

But something inside him tightened.

He looked away quickly.

But the image stayed.

🖤 Anaya Notices Arjun

Anaya's eyes shifted slightly.

She saw him.

At the back.

Quiet.

Watching.

And for a reason she couldn't explain…

she stopped smiling at Rohan.

"Not needed," she said coldly.

Rohan laughed lightly.

"Still the same."

But Anaya didn't respond.

Because her attention had already moved.

🌧️ The Cafeteria Moment

Later that day.

Arjun sat alone.

Again.

And then—

Anaya appeared.

Again.

But this time… she didn't sit immediately.

She looked at him first.

Arjun noticed her.

"You should be busy," he said.

Anaya replied:

"I was."

Silence.

Then she sat down.

Opposite him.

A strange quiet formed between them.

Not awkward.

Not friendly.

Just… aware.

🖤 The Question That Shouldn't Be Asked

Arjun broke silence first.

"That guy… Rohan… you know him?"

Anaya paused.

"Yes."

Simple answer.

Arjun nodded.

He didn't ask more.

But his face changed slightly.

Anaya noticed it immediately.

"Why?" she asked.

Arjun shrugged.

"Just asking."

But it wasn't "just asking."

And she knew it.

🌸 The Emotion They Don't Admit

Anaya leaned back slightly.

"You don't talk much… but you notice everything."

Arjun replied quietly:

"Not everything."

Pause.

Then softer:

"Just… things I shouldn't."

Silence.

Anaya looked at him for a long moment.

Then said something unexpected:

"Rohan is nothing to me."

Arjun blinked.

"I didn't ask."

Anaya replied instantly:

"But you wanted to."

That hit.

Because it was true.

🖤 The First Real Jealous Moment

Arjun looked away.

"You're imagining things."

Anaya tilted her head slightly.

"No. I'm observing."

Silence again.

Then she added softly:

"You looked different today."

Arjun frowned.

"How?"

Anaya paused.

Then said:

"When he talked to me."

That was it.

No explanation.

No emotion shown.

But it was enough.

Because both of them understood something…

without saying it fully.

🌧️ The Dangerous Realization

Arjun's voice lowered:

"You're mistaken."

Anaya replied calmly:

"Am I?"

Silence.

Longer this time.

He didn't answer.

Because he didn't know.

🌸 Night – Arjun

Arjun lay on his bed.

Eyes open.

Thinking.

He whispered:

"Why did it bother me?"

Pause.

Then softer:

"She can talk to whoever she wants."

But his chest didn't agree.

And that was the problem.

🖤 Night – Anaya

Anaya stood near her window.

Rain again.

Always rain.

Her thoughts repeated one moment.

Arjun's silence when Rohan spoke.

His eyes looking away.

And she whispered:

"Why did I feel like I had to explain?"

Pause.

Then softer:

"That's not like me."

But the truth was forming.

Slow.

Unwanted.

Real.

Something had started between them.

Not love.

Not yet.

But worse than that.

Jealous awareness.
