Clay Mapa woke up in the same bed, on the same mattress, in the same room, in the same house, in the same village, in the same region, in the same kingdom, on the same continent, in the same world, and in the same universe.
Clay, sat up groggily, feeling the pleasing warmth of the morning sun rays pierce through the window gaps and gently embracing his entire body suddenly got startled by the door to his room opening, revealing a woman who looked like she was in her 40s wearing a green and white plain blouse with the skirt extending down to her ankles.
"Clay it's about time for your coming-of-age ceremony." Said the woman who suddenly appeared in Clay's room.
"Yeah, I know, mom, you didn't have to bust down the door when I just woke up" Clay grumbled, wanting to close his eyes again.
"Then quickly get out of bed, Josh is already waiting for you at the village hall." Mrs. Mapa reminded.
"Alright just give me some time." Clay yawned.
"Don't make us wait too long, they might start without you" Mrs. Mapa reminded once more.
"Yeah, yeah, I know."
With that, Mrs. Mapa left back through the door as swiftly as she came.
'Looks like I gotta make do without that much sleep I guess.' Clay mentally sighed.
Clay looked around and his eyes landed on a desk that contains clothes that fits his frame.
Still a little tired, he let out a long stifled yawn.
Then, he washed up and got changed.
He donned a green V-neck T-shirt with brown pants and dung-colored sandals made of cow leather stitched neatly.
Clay wandered around for a while in his room before deciding to finally leave, double-checking that he hadn't forgotten anything.
The house he lived in was standard wooden house that could fit roughly 4 people with a toiletry, 3 bedrooms, and 1 living room, there was also an attic but no one really uses it. A very modest and humble house for a family of 4.
Clay found his mother and his younger sister in the living room. His sister still eating her breakfast on the table and his mother washing the dishes.
"Eat fast, Clay, we are leaving in 5 minutes." Mrs. Mapa spoke, still focusing on the dishes.
Clay wondered why it was mostly 5 minutes and not 3, 4, or 2, heck why wasn't it in seconds when people are always leaving for something?
He found his spot on the table, with the same chair on the same side he chose ever since he was a kid. For some reason, that decision stuck with him ever since he was a wee little boy.
He began wolfing down his food, with his little sister occasionally glancing at him with a face that said 'Bro, are you a pig or what...'.
Clay finished his breakfast which was composed of scrambled eggs and some greens in just 2 minutes and 24 seconds, an almost new world record for sure, he then went to the sink to wash his plate in record time, though some smudges were still left, here and there.
'I'll redo that later. but for now, I still got 2 minutes and 11 seconds left' He thought as he walked around the house finding something to satiate his boredom for the rest of the 2 minutes and 11 seconds.
With extra time on his hands, he decided to warm up for the long day that awaited him out the door.
'10.0 pushups, 10.0 squats, 10.0 situps, and a 10-meter run, should do the trick.'
2 minutes and 10 seconds later.
Just as he finished warming up in his room, he heard his mother calling him.
"Clay! Don't tell me that you are not yet ready to leave!" shouted Ms. Mapa from outside the house.
"I'm ready Mom" Clay replied.
"Good luck on your path, Clay" his younger sister, Belle, about 13, cheerfully said.
"Thanks, I'll show you just how amazing your big bro is" Clay said confidently with a smug grin.
"Whatever." Belle rolled her eyes at his narcissistic-like response.
Clay got out of the house and began walking in the direction his mother was heading at.
A while later, he arrived in front of a huge and luxurious 2-story stone building adorned with a big sign on top of two doors at the entrance that exuded a majestic aura, the sign showing 'Village Hall' as if wanting to make its presence known.
Clay and his mother entered the building.
'I wonder what type of system I would get' mused Clay as he walked through the door frame.
