Alongside eleven ancient beings—a primordial gray dragon of Chaos, an ogre king master of Magic, a vampire lord of Reincarnation, and others—they enter the Omnipotent Trial. The prize? The Throne of Existence and Nothingness. On newborn Novapangea, the thirteen Candidates create civilizations that will one day birth their incarnated forms. Humans evolve on Pangea, mythical beings on Ollimaris, connected by passages through the Hollow Earth and separated by an etheric ice wall.
