My name is Serey Oudom. I am a 17 years old boy that was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
One day, As i was coming back from school when suddenly i got a serious headache that hits me like a truck and soon enough, I felt to the ground unconscious but when i woke up.
I already found myself on the hospital the bed and my mother who i saw first, was sitting near me and cried with her hand covered up her face.
"Mom... Why are you crying? And why are we here in the hospital?"
My mother who was still crying after while and she spoke with a weak voice.
"I.. I'm sorry.."
"Huh? For what?"
"I... Should've noticed it sooner..."
"Noticed what?"
She sobbed before speaking again
"The doctor said... You were diagnosed with a serious tumor inside your head"
"And he told me that, you only have 3 months left to live..."
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry to fail as a mother"
After i heard the news from her. I immediately hugged her and comforted her
and instead of sadness. I smiled and spoke to her.
"It's fine, mother..."
"You were always trying your best to provided me and brother after father left us"
"Besides having your presence alone always gives the warm that most kids want"
After that she stop cried and calmed herself down for a moment before speaking to me again
"I... I can't believe of how much you have growned.."
"But... I'm sorry that i was always misunderstood you"
"And always thought that it was just a normal illness"
I then comforted her again
"Like i told you, Mother."
"You did your best to provide what you can for your own son"
"And in fact... All these 17 years of memories will always be inside your heart to right, mother?"
Now back to current situation and today is my last day. Right now i'm resting on my bed and my mother who is always with me this whole time... Now she's nowhere to be seen and i am left alone in my room.
"Hmm..."
"I guess... Mother is busy with her work now..."
I then take peek at the window and think about the time i spent outside with my small family and friends but then...
My head struck with a serious headache again and i clench my head and whines about the pain in agony and fall out of my bed. Then in my last moment... My head goes blank as i take my last breath and lay dead on the floor.
As i have died and now all i am seeing right now are ... NOTHING and... I feel like... I'm drifting away in this ... Sea of darkness.... I can't see... I can't hear... I can't move nor speak... But then...
A light spark above me and lights up my body before i can think on what's going on. Suddenly i found myself laying down on the sea of cloud. And just like any other human beings would do, i get up and look around before speaking
"Huh...? Where am i? What is this place?"
Just when I'm about to stand up and take a step. Suddenly a mere fraction figure of me with no face appears in front of me out nowhere.
"Wh-wha..!"
"W-w-who are you?" As i speak in confused and shocked of what just happened.
The figure didn't speak anything but instead, It waves its hand to follow around and i decide to just follow it. And after a while it speaks.
"It seems like you had a tragic death"
"..."
"Yeah..." I look down as we walk
"But i can guide you to another life"
"Huh? Really? But... How? Are you some sort of a god or something?"
The figure then stops and looks at me before speaking
"God? No..."
"I am no god."
"I am just a soul guider"
"My job is only to guide the lost souls to a better place or send them to another place"
"And what that other might be if i may ask?" I ask the figure out of curiosity
"I have no permission to tell others such place"
"Oh... Okay but if you're going to guide me to another life... Then where am i gonna be at?
After i ask that question, The figure suddenly grows a mouth and grins widely at me and speaks
"You will soon find out..."
"Wha-"
Suddenly i fell off from the place and my mind goes pure blank again.
The scene shifts to another one and a mysterious elegant woman is sitting on a throne and looking through many screen of lives when suddenly she sees another one pops up, She takes a look at it and before she speaks, she smiles.
"Fufu"
"Looks like The [Sealed] has arrived"
