Chapter 23
"There's nothing better than making sure that she's fine. I don't want her to die, I'll take her to one of my exotic houses outside this castle and the pack. Maybe a week's vacation where it's only Rae and me versus the world."
"Are you okay?" Rae pushed his shoulders, wondering why he had gone mute all of a sudden.
"I'm fine Rae. The meal was quite enormous." Alpha Kendrick stutters, running his hand around his stomach.
"I guess you're not a meat lover. Are you a vegetarian?"
"Of course not. Maybe if it's your meal I'll eat a lot." Alpha Kendrick smirked, he held Rae's hand and planted a soft kiss on her knuckles.
"You're indirectly saying you want me to prepare a meal for you." Rae hated that the air was getting stronger, blowing her hair in her face.
She pushed it backwards with her left hand since her right hand was between Alpha Kendrick's hands.
"Now that you know what I want, would you do it?" Alpha Kendrick asked, as he let her hand go.
