Chapter 25
Rae was still lost in her thoughts as Alpha Kendrick opened the door and ushered her into the car. She couldn't get her mind off the fact that Simon is a dead man because anyone in Dimitri's shoes would like to take revenge for what he's done.
"Alpha Kendrick, you haven't told me why you gave him a knife." Rae was displeased by his actions; she was scared that she wouldn't see Simon anymore, and despite his confession, he should be treated before sending him to the dungeon.
"It's nothing to be worried about. It's just a knife. What's the big deal?" He snapped,
"I know that I won't be seeing Simon anymore because Dimitri is going to kill him."
"You can't tell what's going to happen. Besides, if he does that, Simon deserves it. I mean, why would he let Dimitri go through that much pain? He should have made that confession at the first stroke but he didn't." Alpha Kendrick heaves a deep sigh while stealing glances at me.
