Chapter 30
Alpha Kendrick couldn't sleep; he waited the whole day for Rae to open her eyes, but she didn't. She couldn't even raise her hand or even move, the Healer kept checking on her because the Alpha was present.
"How's she feeling?"
"I don't know if it's ideal to be here, Alpha Kendrick. She's going to get better, you need to rest as well, and handle the affairs of the pack. Now that we know what we're up against." The Healer spoke without even thinking of what he was saying. He wanted the Alpha to leave so he could attend to Maid Isla, his niece.
"The pack can be handled by itself, nothing can go wrong in a day or two. I need to be sure about Cole's health as well as Rae's. They're both vital in my leadership." Alpha Kendrick expressed himself while thinking about Rae. He knew he couldn't afford to lose her after the memories he had with her.
